Last week, @enfinitiacademy ran a workshop called Voice Acting For Animation🎙, one of our most popular workshops😍

We were a little nervous about teaching this class online at first but you know what, this was our MOST SUCCESSFUL one so far - we had 53 students from all over Malaysia (Sabah, Sarawak, Kedah, KL, Selangor ) as well as INTERNATIONAL participants from Singapore, Indonesia and even the U.S🙌🏼

This is ONE blessing that came out of the pandemic and forcing Enfiniti to start teaching classes online. Well done @joannabessey, all trainers (including "Ejen Ali" Ida Rahayu @nxs) and the Enfiniti sales and marcomm team. So proud of all of you. And thank YOU too, all 53 of you students big and small😆 from all over the country and the world. Looking forward to see some of you in our next semester, when our Performing Arts Certificate Course starts on June 26th🙌🏼💜

Say hi to Nicholas! He’s 21, is a competitive martial artist and USED to be shy🕺 Nicholas is one of our Performing Arts Certificate students and has been joining our classes for the last few months.

We’re so pleased to know that he feels this program has helped him grow out of his shell and gain confidence, yay! Our vibrant Head Of Enfiniti Academy Joanna Bessey sorted that out immediately : “You can’t be shy in my class!” 🎭🎬

With Zoom classes, Nicholas describes that he’s more comfortable, because he’s in his room, in his own home. He’s a self-confessed overachiever and is challenging himself to take the FULL course, and hopefully someday become a professional singer-dancer-actor. We’re behind him all the way, to help him achieve his dreams!

I failed to secure the scholarship to Beijing, unfortunately. So, I was thinking of giving up acting for real and get a job at casino, to feed my stomach.

On Valentine's D eve, Joanne Goh dated me out. Learnt about my plan and rebuked me so badly. She pushed me to keep going by giving me the support I needed at that time.

Then covid came and everything was put on hold. But the journey of pursuing dream goes on... during mco I established 4346km long distance relationship with Beijing Film Academy (online class)

During cmco period, #PrebetSapuFilm was screened in #jogjanetpacasianfilmfestival while #NotMyMothersBaking opened on the 10th Dec and thanks to the overwhelming response, it's still running in cinema.

Also, I acted in an English film, cameo in a Malay Tele and a Mandarin drama series. (I basically cover all 3 languages projects despite wasn't completely fluent in any, damn lucky-lar, I know)

At last, the episode of nak break-up tak jadi, and now I am stuck in a complicated relationship with the above mentioned.

Hence, wrapping up my year with #miffest2020 meant so much to me. It's also very motivating and heart warming to see the faces of each and every warriors in Malaysia film industry tonight.

You may have watched Malaysian made film, or maybe not... but we do exist. Press ❤️ if you think you would like go to the cinema and catch a local film, to support people like me in the Malaysia's film industry, in the near future.

I thought 2020 would be a year I got everything I wanted. Now I know 2020 is the year I appreciate everything I have.

This film follows the tale of a college freshman, Ryan, as he heads into college after promising his parents that he would stop dancing and focus on his education in Business. However, he soon stumbles upon a flash mob, meeting Emily whom eventually convinced him to audition for the dance club. Watch as Ryan slowly grasp the meaning of dance, passion and love.

This programme is part of Got to Move, a nationwide movement to celebrate dance and get everyone in Singapore MOVING! The second edition this year will see various dance groups and studios holding free workshops, masterclasses, dance programmes and activities across the island from 7th to 23rd October. Over the 3 weekends, we will be having a series of GTM SPOTLIGHT events that will allow you to discover and immerse yourself in different dance-related activities!
