為了紀念印度的傳奇舞蹈家姆里納里尼·沙拉巴（Mrinalini Sarabhai）的100歲冥誕，今日Google換上了由新德里插畫家Sudeepti Tucker的活潑塗鴉，向這一位與舞蹈密不可分的偉大舞者致敬。

姆里納里尼·沙拉巴1918年出生於印度的喀拉拉邦，在2016年1月逝世，享年97歲。在她的創作生涯中，除了編創了三百多部舞蹈作品之外，更撰寫多部小說、詩歌和劇本。在1949年時，更在印度的艾哈邁達巴德（Ahmedabad）成立了達帕那表演藝術學院（Darpana Academy of Performing Arts），專門教授舞蹈、戲劇、音樂和偶戲等藝術項目，為印度的表演藝術發展立下了非常重要的里程碑，在姆里納里尼·沙拉巴的教育生涯中一共教導了18,000名學生。

“Continuously through the years people ask me, ‘What is dance to you?’It is my breath, my passion my self. Can anyone ever understand these words? But what is meaningful, what is your fulfilment people ask me now. You have achieved fame, you are called the goodness of dance. Why do you go on straining yourself? I have no answer. How can I tell them that I am only ‘I’ when I dance. I am only that ‘I AM’ when I dance. I am only eternity when I dance. Silence is my response, movement my answer.”
