<美輪美奐嘅珠寶就一定好貴？Let’s take a look at Art Deco Jewellery>

認識我嘅朋友都知道我好鍾意歷史同古董，乜嘢 antique or vintage，無論傢俬地氈畫作以至珠寶，凡係舊嘅嘢都特別吸引我，睇得一大餐。部份中國人對於舊嘅嘢有啲芥蒂，因為不明來歷，但喺歐美甚至日本，呢啲古董就被視為如珠如寶。

珠寶方面我只係略懂皮毛，但係我就係對古董珠寶情有獨鍾，因為每一件都係藝術品，而透過佢不但可以穿越時空隧道去到以前，感受每一個工匠日以繼夜用手工用熱情去製作，放喺手上彷彿就能夠感受到嗰種暖流。

亞洲人着重投資價值，好多時候買珠寶都看重卡數、色系等等技術性層面，對於外國古董設計未必太認同。但係除咗投資價值珠寶確實絕對有佢嘅觀賞價值。至於藝術係咪值錢屬非常主觀。

至於眾多唔同年代嘅珠寶設計，我特別鍾情 Art Deco 年代或60年代款式，全手工製作，因為設計方面既有藝術性又不失時尚感，容易配襯現代打扮。其實係古董珠寶界別入邊，Art Deco 算係一個主流。喺市面上唔難買到，而且價錢非常實惠（有時候仲平過 fashion jewellery)。當大部份人淨係識宣示自己粒鑽石或寶石有幾多卡同顏色幾好嘅時候，你有人有，其實幾無趣味。有時候去到一啲聚會有朋友欣賞自己佩戴嘅珠寶，其實係幾開心嘅一件事。唔係因為你件珠寶最貴，而係大家對品味嘅一個肯定。呢個亦係投資珠寶或一個珠寶愛好者覺得好玩之處。

Olivia GURDJIAN, the founder and designer of sustainable fashion brand Bubble Mood. Born in France, lived in Shanghai for a decade and moved to Chiangmai for further growth.

Minori TASHIRO, living in Hong Kong for 6 years with family was a jewellery designer in Tokyo. And she established her own handcrafted jewellery brand Shiam since 2014 to pursuit her delicate craftsmanship to her own designs.

Sylvie TSAI, a young but knowledgeable vintage collector from Taiwan has carried her 鑲珹 Crossroads Vintage & Antique Jewelry for 5 years to amaze people with her fabulous collections in different markets and events both in Taiwan and Hong Kong.

Bess LEEDER, air milliner who has established her own millinery brand Bess Leeder Millinery I Wardrobe I Travel since 2012. Backpacking with her husband from north to south and east to west all these years takes her to get the inspirations together and injects into her creations.

We are going to join together with those beautiful and talented women who are showcasing their awesome works on 12 & 13 July in Sheung Wan. To nourish the gathering, we will invite the founder of My Fair Lady, Rita Lai who facilitates our cultural exchange and discussion.
