《笨媽手記》(English gist follows)

小時候總學到動物世界是弱肉強食，食物鏈也是一層吃一層。昨晚，笨笨讓我上了更深刻的一課，動物和動物之間，其實都是互相尊重啊！
.
昨晚和笨笨如常散步，他突然在馬路邊停了下來，我還一邊拿出報紙一邊想「有沒有那麼多屎啊？」，他低頭嗅地上一團毛茸茸的東西，就抬頭望著我叫我也看看，啊，是一只BB鳥啊！由於小鳥還差一步便跌出馬路，我便立即用紙巾把牠包起拿在手裡，打算立即放回巢啊，但樹太高也見不到巢，這裏又路窄車多天色昏暗，而且小鳥的腳又好像伸不直，受傷了啊？還是先帶回家吧！

回家後把小鳥放進箱裡。笨笨就一直待在箱旁，乖乖做個暖男，小鳥叫，他探頭去看看，小鳥休息了，他便坐在身邊一起休息，笨笨還會露出很開心的笑容啊。笨笨也覺得自己很棒棒吧，救了小鳥的性命呢！

稍事檢查小鳥無大礙，笨媽決定先返回現場，看看小鳥的媽媽有沒有尋找小鳥，但久等不果，決定漏夜把小鳥送去愛護動物協會，再轉交嘉道理農場，讓專業人士檢查和照顧啊！

回到家後，笨笨的反應讓我好驚訝啊，他在小鳥曾經待過的地方轉不停，嗅一下門口位置，又把客廳都嗅一遍。原來笨笨在找小鳥啊！他擔心小鳥安危，他擔心小鳥不知去了哪啊！媽媽只好慢慢和他解釋小鳥現在很安全啊，在有醫生照顧的地方啊，還會有飯飯吃啊！笨笨聽完後望一望我，然後便很安心去睡了。

笨笨，謝謝你讓媽媽上了寶貴一課，所有生命都是重要的，哪怕是一只小鳥，我們都要盡力拯救啊！是你的愛心讓小鳥能振翅高飛，笨笨，媽媽以你為榮啊！

Bunbun found this birdie under a road-side tree at a busy junction during his walk yesterday night and asked us to save her by looking at us. We decided to bring this birdie home and checked if she got hurt. After arriving home, Bunbun kept staying next to the bridie to ensure she was in good condition. Eventually we passed it to (R)SPCA for the vet to take care of her. When we returned home, we were surprised that Bunbun was a bit nervous about missing her and searched the entire house. So we told Bunbun that birdie was safe and fine with the vet. His worry was eased and he showed a big smile of satisfaction.
