Smart casual這個dress code最令人困擾的地方，是它並沒有明確的規定，不像Black Tie、White Tie這些正式dress code一樣，可以逐樣照著跟。
要說smart casual是個穿搭規定，倒不如說是個參考範圍。而這個範圍，是闊過西隧的。
例如你是做銀行的，那麼單件恤衫配卡其褲，或者深色未洗水的牛仔褲，外加一對全黑皮Common Project，就已經叫做casual。
但同樣恤衫卡其，在ㄧ些不太講究衣著的公司裡，隨時已經是老細級別才會穿的business attire。
所以，smart casual的重點並不是casual，而是smart。
而要著得夠smart，就要be water，my friends。

【工程師穿什麼?】
今天穿著H&M 打折時新買的上衣，突然覺得自己穿的很Teenager 小屁孩
其實我們公司dress code 是casual smart 就是半正式，但工程師們大家都牛仔褲Tshirt，只有部份人會每天襯衫西裝褲，sales 他們就會正式套裝
只有星期五是dress down 就是可以隨便穿
不過卡爾有時也穿的很屁孩，他還戴兩個耳環，他喜歡穿的很fantasy ,像暗紅色的大衣，或黑紅格紋襯衫，頭髮基本上是金色刺蝟頭……（所謂的非主流?！）尼克 麥克 鄧肯之類就多是polo衫 or 素T 加牛仔褲，沙利許則是一定襯衫西裝褲，米拉通常就襯衫牛仔褲，愛比蓋兒比較會穿類似uniqlo 那種女生輕熟款上衣，牛仔褲配長靴，還有些人會穿的很有型，有一個工程師就會穿長版大衣（像韓劇男生那種）配上牛津鞋或靴子~
而其他像HR, Business都還是穿比較一般上班族，半正式那樣~
