1958 pattern webbing 係一套設計於1958年嘅英國軍隊公發裝備，由60年代至90年代中，皇家海軍及陸戰隊，皇家香港軍團(義勇軍)都有使用。
1997年當英軍撤出香港時, 留下的部份裝備被收藏家帶到去朗坪一個倉庫小心保存下來，直至20年後倉庫被拆卸逼遷， 呢批具歷史意義嘅裝備差啲就無奈被送到堆填區。
Fieldpack 58嘅設計就係要喺保留裝備獨特元素嘅前題下，改裝佢地成為構造堅固及實用性強嘅背囊，令呢啲袋可以在日常生活當中，重新再被使用。

The 1958 pattern webbing is a modular based military equipment issued to the Armed Forces of the United Kingdom, British Forces in Hong Kong as well as The Royal Hong Kong Regiment from the 1950s until mid-1990s.
These equipments were left behind by the colonial Government of Hong Kong and were then acquired by a collector before the handover in 1997. They were stored in a warehouse in Long Ping for 20 years until it was demolished. These historical equipments were originally set on their way to the landfill.
To rescue these modular webbings, they have been re-designed into durable, practical everyday backpacks, Fieldpack 58.
