A year ago today you came into our lives and changed it forever! The first three days of your life, we weren’t able to be together because of covid restrictions, and I would say to this day, that’s the hardest thing I’ve ever encountered, I never want to have another day without you. 💖 In those first three days, all I remember aside from the pain is my mom sitting outside the glass and talking to you as long as they would let her, and my dad driving his cart over to the hospital to sit with me while I cried. I couldn’t have done it without our family by my side. I couldn’t have done it without my mom and Michelle reminding me to push and breathe. I couldn’t have done it without your dad keeping us all so calm. It really takes a village and I’m so grateful for the village around us.
