Diy kits are on the rage these days and I must say the mama’s lucky meatballs from @mrspho is one of my favourites! They taste as good as dine-in but actually more affordable. Unlike the usual savoury meatballs, these reddish meatballs are slightly sweet with a good bite. Each pack comes in 15 balls for $9.90 and can be stored frozen for a month. Same goes for the braised beef stew which goes well with baguette, noodles or rice.

Michelin ramen-ing at home 🍜
Tried all 3 diy ramen kits @tsutasingapore and our favourite is the Mala Tonkotsu 🔥 the spice and mala oil elevates the taste of the pork broth, making the slurping experience extra shiok and oishii especially when the noodles are piping hot.

Each kit comes with a basic combination of black ear fungus, noodles, broth and two slices of char siew. But you get extra stuff of either black pepper minced meat + burnt garlic oil (for the Kurobishio Tonkotsu) or mala minced meat (for the Mala Tonkotsu) Craving for ramen egg? You got to cook it yourself 😜

Always love pan-fried gyozas and these from @tsutasingapore are really oishii 😋 Tsuta has launched a series of diy ramen and gyoza kits which can be ordered online for delivery or pick up.

The gyozas ($12.80/12pcs) can be boiled or fried, up to your liking. But I must say the meat filling is juicy and flavorful! Worth stocking this at home 👍🏻

Isobel and Iman bakes Fudgy Brownies using a DIY Kit prepared by @Boxtivity. The idea behind Boxtivity began when head baker, Ima from Syzcake bakery, spent time with her daughter Inara at home, during the Covid Lockdown.

"When you are new to baking, it can be really frustrating to search recipes (so many online....how to choose?) and the right ingredients.We collaborated with Syzcake Bakery to develop Boxtivity. Each of our recipes are specially curated and created with love and care to provide you with the best baking experience" - Ima

Baking Kits consists of all the ingredients required depending on the package you choose, a step-by-step baking instruction recipe card as well as a QR code for video instructions. You only need butter and eggs (which was provided to us for this session)

Directions:
1. Separate the trays.
2. Make 3 different ice cream flavors.
3. Make 4 ice cream cone cups. (Microwave on Med for 20 sec.)
4. Scoop ice cream on cone cups.
5. Decorate to finish.
