The ongoing chip shortage, which TrendForce believes will last until 2H22, has persisted for nearly two years, affecting such end-products as laptops, smartphones, TVs, Wi-Fi routers, smart watches, game consoles, cars, and even refrigerators and laundry machines.

TrendForce estimates the 12-inch equivalent capacity of the top 10 foundries to grow at a 10% CAGR from 2019-2023, though the current chip shortage is caused by not only constrained foundry capacities, but also a shortage of packaging substrates and testing capacities.

Ultimately, resolving the issue of chip shortage requires the support of key players throughout the entire semiconductor supply chain across downstream, midstream, and upstream sectors.

President Biden has returned the United States to the Paris Climate Agreement, pledged to double the United States’ climate support for developing countries by 2024, and to triple adaptation finance. Most recently, at the G7 meeting in Cornwall, President Biden highlighted that transitioning the world to cleaner energy sources is both urgent and essential.

On the evening of August 11, AIT’s Commercial Section hosted a webinar on renewal energy, where top management from Vena Energy and Swancor Renewable Energy provided insight on business opportunities in the solar and wind energy sector in Taiwan. Going forward, innovative U.S. upstream and downstream suppliers will have an opportunity to engage with major local energy players, which will contribute to Taiwan’s ambitious goal of generating 20 percent of its energy from renewable sources by 2025 and help both the United States and Taiwan address the shared challenge of climate change.

道の駅志原海岸（みちのえきしはらかいがん）は、和歌山県西牟婁郡白浜町日置の国道42号にある道の駅。

地理

日置川町は紀伊半島の西側に位置していた。町域は日置川に沿って東西方向に伸びており、西は太平洋に面し、東は紀伊半島中部の山岳地帯にあたっていた。この町は日置川の中・下流域を占めていたが、日置川が曲流著しく渓谷を成していたため、平地は河口部を除きほぼ皆無であった。

中心集落は日置。この集落は日置川河口付近、町内でも希少な平地に位置し、古来よりこの日置川流域からの木材などの集散地として栄えていた。上流からきた木材はこの日置で一度集められ、それを日置の港に寄った船が運び出していたのである。

山としては高瀬山（標高340m）、米山（標高423m）、白浜町との境に位置する塩津山（標高516m）および行徳山（標高458m）および弰山（標高484m）、田辺市（旧大塔村）および古座川町との境にある大森山（標高841m、和歌山県で70番目に高い）、これも田辺市（旧大塔村）との境にある将軍山（標高748m、和歌山県で96番目の高さ）、当町東部にそびえる三舞山（標高490m）があり、川としては先述の日置川のほかに将軍川などがあった。

Geography

Hikigawa-cho was located on the west side of the Kii peninsula. The town region expanded in the direction of east and west according to Hikigawa, the west faced the Pacific Ocean, and the east hit the mountainous region in the Kii peninsula central part. Because the valley where Hikigawa paved bent flow Cho had been done, the plain was almost none at all though this town had been occupying the downstream region in Hikigawa excluding the mouth of a river part.

A center village is Hioki. This village was located in a scarce plain, and prospered more than old as a distributing center such as wood from this Hikigawa valley also in the vicinity of the Hikigawa mouth of a river and the town. It was collected once in this Hioki, and the ship that had come near to a port in Hioki was carrying it out to the wood that had come from the upstream.

As the mountain, it is Shiotsyama (above sea level 516m) located in the boundary of the Takase mountain (above sea level 340m), Yoneyama (above sea level 423m), and Shirahama-cho, Mt. Gyotoku (above sea level 458m), and 弰There are three Mayama (above sea level 490m) that soars in the general mountain (the 96th height in above sea level 748m and Wakayama Prefecture) where the Mt. Omori (It is high in the 70th in above sea level 841m and Wakayama Prefecture) in the boundary of the mountain (above sea level 484m), Tanabe City (old Oto-son), and Kozagawa-cho and these are in the boundary with Tanabe City (old Oto-son), too and the east part of this town. The river included the general river etc. besides Hikigawa of ahead.
