If you want a college town experience, I feel there’s no better option than Boston, MA. The Boston area has over 30 different colleges including Harvard University, Tufts University, Northeastern University, Boston College, Boston University, and my very own Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). College life can be very stressful, so it’s important to find ways to relax. When I was at MIT I used to go for runs along the Charles River. My favorite weekend pastime was to go to Boston’s North End for awesome Italian food. MIT also offered plenty of other creative activities to help relieve stress such as robotics clubs and performance theater. Did you know that MIT students have a history of playing practical jokes? The perfect joke, or “hack,” is clever and benign, but also well planned. The most famous one occurred in 1994 when students managed to place a (replica) campus police cruiser on top of the Great Dome! Students in Boston know how to work and play hard! Here’s a tip: when you apply for your student visa, the best way to ensure the process goes smoothly is to work hard on your DS-160 visa application and fill it out as completely as possible. -- Paul
