Hearts are built by the light we let in in our life. This is what I altered from Rumi’s saying — “The wound is the place where the Light enters you.”
I want to share this because I have been struggling with the question of how can artist help the revolution that matters. Also, this month is Mental Health Awareness month. I have been practicing this magic spell for over a decade now and still learning a lot from it. I try apply it to as many life aspects as possible and I have found the hardest part is usually the start. Such as, to admit things that might conflict what you stand for; be open minded when you know there’s possibilities to get hurt, or simply to believe other people’s actions are coming from a good place when there’s less evidence than expected to support me to do so.
I think if the more of us manifest what’s good to ourselves into action and apply it to our planet, we can really help the environment. It’s as simple as caring a friend. And I cannot think of one excuse why not.
