Flat-headed cats are an endangered species of wild cat native to the Malay peninsula, Sumatra, and Borneo. As their name suggests, they have a flattened forehead - they are slender and delicate with small ears, large close-set eyes, and thick reddish-brown fur. They are one of the smallest members of the cat family weighing between 1.5-2.5 kg. Very little is known about them as they are quite rare and elusive - so spotting one is an absolute treat.
