Regression in workout
Regression as in toning down your workout routine or your workout to a much more do able level,however most of us are more focused on progression than regression.
I believe that knowing your regression ( how to make your workout less intense) is just as important as progression (making your workout more challenging)
Why? -- most of us are not from the same fitness level, knowing regression can not only help you prevent injuries but also help you progress.... -- some of us could also have injuries that may restrict us from certain movements, however if you know regression you can prevent from causing yourself further injuries.
Sometimes we get carried away looking at you tube videos and fitness enthusiast on Instagram , wanting to try their moves, and end up not be able to do it or injured, but their workouts aren't wrong most of the time.
However we should be more aware of our physical state and look into much more basic forms of workout and slowly improve from there
Some of the examples of regressions are:
Pushups --> knee pushups
Planks ---> knee planks
Squats ---> benched squats
And so on, but any how ill post a video of some of the regression of the most basic workout on my wall, do follow!!! KNOW YOUR REGRESSIONS!!!! And god bless!! #regression #workout #supported#trainersingh #workout #nevergiveup #fitfam #knowledgeispower
