【童畫足印親子工作坊🦶🏻🎨】
透過色調、筆觸、選材都反映了創作者的想法，你多久沒有執筆繪畫呢？是次工作坊藝術家葉雯將會分享個人創作的藝術經驗， 並誠邀家長與小孩一同以繪畫記錄身體， 創作出獨有的紀念作品，讓繪畫留在當下。
導師簡介: 葉雯 Manny Yip
葉雯⽣於香港，2017年獲墨爾本皇家理⼯⼤學與香港藝術學院合辦之榮譽學⼠，主修繪畫。創作圍繞記憶、童年和⾃我探究過程，以過去與想像建造出⾃有抽象及開放的詮釋空間。2017年獲香港特別⾏政區政府獎學基⾦外展體驗獎，於保加利亞及芝加哥進⾏藝術家駐留計劃，2019年獲藝發局新苗藝術資助展覽《某年某地》，作品先後於香港、美國及東歐展出。葉⽒曾被邀與多個⽂化及商業單位合作聯乘創作，並策劃藝術教育活動。
【Painting with Child Workshop 🦶🏻🎨】
Creation is an innate ability born with, we know drawing before writing, while painting is one of the most primitive ways of creation. The colour, brushstrokes and selection of themes all reflect the artist’s thoughts. How long have you not been painting? In this workshop, Manny will share her personal artistic experience, and sincerely invite participants to record their bodies with children through painting, creating unique artwork.
Tutor introduction:
Manny Yip (Hong Kong) received BAFA at Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University (co- presented with Hong Kong Art School), major in painting in 2017. Her works capture senses of childhood innocence which are both reflections of her memories and yearnings. The abstraction and openness of the spatial interpretation in her works also speak for themselves. They are not merely an obsession with the past, but also an inviting space for viewers to freely associate with their own memories and imaginations.
She has been awarded the Reaching Out Award (2017) which included artist residency programmes in Bulgaria & Chicago, and Grant for Emerging Artists (2019) from Hong Kong Arts Development Council. Her artworks were collected by private collectors and exhibited in several cities, Hong Kong, United States and Europe. She has also been invited as a selected artist by commercial corporations and as a programme instructor for schools.

【情債的因果】The Karma Behind Love Debts

偶爾夜深人靜時，我會想到以前見過的客人，不知他們看了命之後如何，有照做還是依然沒改本來的習性，現在在世界的各個角落不知過得好不好。

這位女子是我2020年6月通過Zoom視訊的海外客人。

兩個月前，她在我的Youtube影片下方留言，大方的說出了她的情傷經歷。

幾年前，有位曾經風靡一時的男歌手因老年患癌而逝世。

本來，他將會投胎成為一位美麗的女人。

一聽，是不是覺得當個美麗的女人是件很幸福的事？

在因果上，當女人業障是比較重的。美麗的背後，更有著環環相扣的因果業報。

給他投胎當個美麗的女人，是要他去還當男人時所欠的風流債。

「她」將會有很多的男朋友。每一個男朋友，「她」都得去償還前世所欠的情債。

這位男歌手生平也造了許多賭業，但他有一個優點，他非常相信草屯慈惠堂的瑤池金母。

而瑤池金母亦是我師尊相應的本尊，因此產生了這個很奇妙的因緣。

那一年，男歌手死沒多久，我師尊，蓮生活佛，在草屯雷藏寺主壇「不空羂索觀世音」的護摩（火供）超度大法會。

慈惠堂的瑤池金母帶著這位男歌手來到師尊的法座前。

男歌手灰色的魂魄伏拜在地，向師尊求超度。

於是，他的魂魄被帶到烈火之中，黑色的業氣被三昧真火燒得乾乾淨淨，清淨的往生佛國淨土了。

這故事收錄在我師尊文集第241冊《遇見本尊》一書當中，章名為「焚燒中的火中蓮」。

所以說，大家多讀些因果故事的書，智慧增長了，能幫助我們避開很多災害，省卻很多煩惱。

有的人還情債，是必須得人財兩空，有的則是賠上整個青春和家庭。

我們通過修持佛法的方式，用懺悔的心和功德去還，也能化解這一切的因果牽纏，大事化小，小事化無。

但一切要趁早！

高凌風先生在中陰身時能離苦得樂，因為他對瑤池金母有信心。

我的客人雖被斂財，但保住了自己的清白，因為她相信佛陀所定下的戒律。這是何其有幸！

一個人只要願意守住一條戒，就會有戒神來守護著她他。五戒皆能守，就會得五尊護法守護著行者，冥冥當中，自然能避開很多禍事。

佛法大海，唯信能入。你的信力，可以成就無量功德，是你改命的關鍵！

Sometimes in the still of the night, I will think of my past clients. I wonder how they are doing after our consultations. Did they follow my advice or are they still adamant in their ways? Are they leading a happier life, being in all parts of the world?

I did a Zoom consultation with this lady living in a foreign land, back in June 2020.

Two months ago, she left a comment under my YouTube video, generously sharing her heartbreak experience.

Few years ago, a once-famous male singer died due to cancer at old age.

He was supposed to be reincarnated as a beautiful woman in his next rebirth.

Sounds like a very fortunate thing to be reborn as a beautiful woman, isn’t it?

Fact is, it means the person has more negative karma to be reborn as a woman. There are very intricate karmic retribution links behind that face of beauty.

He was to take the form of a beautiful woman because he had to repay the debts of romance he incurred when he was a man.

“She” would have many boyfriends. And to each and every man, “she” would repay what “she” once owed.

This male singer also committed many gambling sins when he was alive. However, he has one virtue. He has strong faith in the Jade Pond Golden Mother, at Cao Tun Tsu Huei Temple.

And Golden Mother happens to be the principle deity that my Grandmaster has attained yogic union with. An incredible affinity thus unfolded.

That year, not long after the death of the male singer, my Grandmaster, Living Buddha Lian-Sheng, presided over the Amoghapasha Lokeshvara Fire Offering bardo deliverance ceremony, held at Taiwan Lei Tsang Temple in Cao Tun.

Jade Pond Golden Mother of Tsu Huei Temple lead the deceased male singer to the throne, where my Grandmaster sat.

The grey spirit of the male singer bowed on the ground, seeking deliverance from my Grandmaster.

Thus, his soul was brought into the raging flames. The black cloud of his negative karma was thoroughly burnt by the Samadhi fire. He was reborn in the Pureland, cleansed and purified.

This chapter was in my Grandmaster’s book 241 Sacred Encounters with Deities, named The Burning Lotus in The Fire

This is why I think it’s important that we read more books on karma stories. It will increase our wisdom and help us avoid many misfortunes and afflictions. You will think twice before giving in to temptations.

If you already know that your love life this lifetime is rather rocky, I suggest that you cultivate and dedicate merits to your karmic creditors. You can also register for bardo deliverance and do good deeds in their names.

When you fill up the form, you can write their name as the karmic creditors of XXX (your full name).

To repay in this life what we owe from last life is the unalterable principle of this world.

In repaying love debts, some people lose both their wealth and bodies, while others pay for it with their youth and families.

Through Dharma practices, we can resolve these karmic entanglements with repentance and merits.

But all must be done in time!

Kao Ling-feng was able to be liberated from Samsara, when he was in a bardo form, because of his strong faith in Jade Pond Golden Mother.

My client may have been scammed of her money, but she did not lose herself to the cheater, because she believes in the precepts laid down by Buddha. How fortunate is that!

When a person is willing to abide by one precept, there will be one God of Precepts to watch over him/her. When all five precepts are observed, the cultivator will have 5 Dharma Protectors protecting him/her. This will help avoid many possible disasters.

One must have faith to enter the great ocean of Dharma. The power of your faith can achieve countless merits and is the key to transforming your Destiny!

How long does protection from COVID-19 vaccines last?

As Taiwan begins its long-awaited ( ) vaccination drive ( ) one year after the beginning of the pandemic, the promise of an added layer of protection against COVID-19 has many wondering: “How long does protection from COVID-19 vaccines last?”

According to the Associated Press, experts don’t know yet because they’re still studying vaccinated people to see when protection might wear off ( ).

How well the vaccines work against emerging ( ) variants ( ) will also determine if, when and how often additional shots might be needed.

“We only have information for as long as the vaccines have been studied,” said Deborah Fuller, a vaccine researcher at the University of Washington. “We have to study the vaccinated population and start to see, at what point do people become vulnerable ( ) again to the virus?”

So far, Pfizer’s ongoing ( ) trial indicates the company’s two-dose vaccine remains highly effective for at least six months, and likely longer. People who got Moderna’s vaccine also still had notable levels of virus-fighting antibodies ( ) six months after the second required shot.

While the current COVID-19 vaccines will likely last for at least about a year, they probably won’t offer lifelong ( ) protection, as with measles ( ) shots, said Dr. Kathleen Neuzil, a vaccine expert at the University of Maryland.

Variants are another reason we might need an additional shot.
So far, the vaccines appear protective against the notable variants that have emerged, though somewhat ( ) less so on the one first detected in South Africa.

If it turns out we need another shot, a single dose could extend protection of the current shots or contain vaccination for one or more variants.

The need for follow-up ( ) shots will also depend partly on the success of the vaccination push globally, and tamping ( ) down transmission ( ) of the virus and emerging variants.

COVID-19疫苗的有效防護期有多久？

繼COVID-19疫情爆發後將近一年多的時間，台灣近日開始陸續施打疫苗。然而，疫苗的效用也讓許多人質疑，打完規定的兩劑後，到底可以撐多久？

根據美聯社所做的調查，因專家仍然在觀察近期接收疫苗的對象進行研究，目前還無法確定疫苗效能確切能維持多久。

再者，多久需要施打一次疫苗也得依據一般疫苗針對不斷出現的變種病毒的效能而論。

美國華盛頓大學的疫苗研究員德柏拉．富勒 (Deborah Fuller)表示「我們目前手上的資訊僅限於廠商研發疫苗時所做的研究。我們仍然需要觀察已接收疫苗族群的各位在什麼時間點開始又會再次被COVID-19感染。」

依照目前情況而論，輝瑞公司正在進行的實驗表示該公司的兩劑疫苗至少在6個月內仍然高度有效，並且有機會撐得更久。研究同時顯示，接收莫德納疫苗的族群在第二劑的6個月後，體內依舊保留著抗疫抗體。

美國馬里蘭大學疫苗專家凱薩琳．紐澤 (Kathleen Neuzil) 表示，雖然目前的疫苗可能撐到一年之久，但他們如同麻疹疫苗，應無法帶給大家終身的保護力。

變種病毒也可能成為我們需要被施打另一劑疫苗的原因。

目前為止，這些疫苗儘管對於南非發現的變種病毒保護作用較差，對於其他主要流行之變種病毒效力似乎不差。

如果未來發現我們需要再接收一劑疫苗，單一劑有機會延長保護力或是能對抗一種或多種變種病毒的效力。

對後續施打疫苗的需求也將取決於全球範圍內推動疫苗接種的成效，以及遏制病毒和新出現的變種病毒之傳播。

劇情攻略結局距離前作 60 年後，一名富有的企業家 奧斯華‧門德斯Oswald Mandus 前往墨西哥探險，結果發生意外、染上熱病，在他昏迷那段期間他不斷地做夢、夢到一個奇怪的機器不斷地轟隆作響。
當他清醒的時候他已經不知道自己昏睡了多久，醒來之後他聽到機器引擎的怒吼，那台神祕的機器開始啟動了。

The game features several interlocking storylines. Some take place in the past, some in the present, and some are overtly real while some may be imagined.[5] Set in London on New Year's Eve, 1899,[6] the game's protagonist is Oswald Mandus, a wealthy industrialist and butcher. Upon the beginning of the game, he awakens from a fever that has unknowingly lasted for several months, after returning from a "disastrous" expedition to Mexico. Throughout the game, he hears the voices of his sons, Edwin and Enoch, calling for him as they lead him through the different areas of the game.
