After they chewed through the church organ Franz Xaver Gruber and Joseph Mohr created this song. The choir learned it in a very short amount of time in order to deliver it to the churchgoers on Christmas Eve.
I'm sure they wouldn't have guessed we'd cover it in Chinese in 2020.❤️

首先我得跟你道歉，我真不是一個手靈巧的人，字很醜。
我聽說你想要卡片，所以給你送來了。
我不知道你會喜歡蛋糕、西瓜，還是棒棒糖，所以都給你送來了。
我想你會有一個被聖誕節卡片所淹沒的聖誕節，但我已經先被你閃亮的眼睛給迷倒了。
當我還是一個孩子的時候，經常因為體型的關係被人欺負，所以我想我應該要給你在你難過的時候幾個建議：
1、喜歡上音樂吧：在音樂裡我們都是自由的，盡情地尖叫、哭泣、扭動還有大吼。
2、養成隨手寫東西的習慣：特別是當有糟糕的事情發生時，當過了很久很久以後你再打開來看看，會發現這些爛事竟然已經不再重要了，你變得更強壯。
3、當沒有辦法再忍耐的時候，就反擊：雖然結果可能不如你預想，但是會比後悔當初為什麼不反擊還好喔。
我希望你往後都過得順利。

First of all I just want to say sorry, I am really not a handy person, and don't have elegant handwriting.

I heard you want a christmas card, so here you are.

I don't know if your favorite is the cake, the watermelon or the lollipop, so I give you all.
I know you will have a Christmas overwhelmed by lovely cards, but it's your shining eyes that charmed me, more than all the other bling-bilings.

When I was a child, I was always being bullied because of my big size, so I think it's okay for me to give you a few suggestions when you're sad:

1, try the music. In the music we are all free, we can let ourselves go, screaming, crying and shouting.

2, develop a habit of writing things, especially when something bad happens. You can come back to those words when all those pains have gone, and you will suprisingly find youself becmoing so strong that those nightmares are not important anymore.

3, when it's too much to endure, revolt. Although the results may not be as you expected, but it will be anyway better than regret.

I wish you all the best.

今年沒辦法回加拿大跟我家人過聖誕節，所以這支影片我要帶你們跟我一起在台灣找回聖誕節的感覺！我們布置聖誕樹、裝聖誕襪、還有手做我最喜歡吃的nanaimo bars!

Nanaimo bars食譜:

Bottom Layer
½ cup unsalted butter
¼ cup sugar
5 tbsp. cocoa
1 egg beaten
1 ¼ cups graham wafer crumbs
½ c. finely chopped almonds
1 cup coconut

Melt first 3 ingredients in top of double boiler. Add egg and stir to cook and thicken. Remove from heat. Stir in crumbs, coconut, and nuts. Press firmly into an ungreased 8" x 8" pan.

Second Layer
½ cup unsalted butter
2 Tbsp. and 2 Tsp. cream
2 Tbsp. vanilla custard powder
2 cups icing sugar

Cream butter, cream, custard powder, and icing sugar together well. Beat until light. Spread over bottom layer.

Third Layer
4 squares semi-sweet chocolate (1 oz. each)
2 Tbsp. unsalted butter

Melt chocolate and butter over low heat. Cool. Once cool, but still liquid, pour over second layer and chill in refrigerator.
