「子宮的形狀、重量、和尺寸，取決於生育次數的多寡和雌激素的狀態。初經前或是停經後，子宮體和子宮頸的大小一樣。在生育年齡，子宮體的尺寸比子宮頸大很多。在成年未懷孕的女性，子宮長度約7公分，子宮底部寬度約5公分。」

The shape, weight, and dimensions of the uterus vary according to parity and estrogen stimulation. Before menarche and after menopause, the body and cervix are approximately equal in size, but during the reproductive years, the uterine body is significantly larger than the cervix. In the adult, nonpregnant woman, the uterus measures approximately 7 cm in length and 5 cm in width at the fundus.
