The baby in the family turned 4! Happy birthday, dearest Asher!
To celebrate his actual day, we rode our scooters and balance bike out for a mum-and-kids lunch. We stuck a candle on a hot fudge just for him to blow out again and again as he loves doing it. For how long more will he enjoy this, I wonder
Well, I am definitely cherishing it for now. Thanks for surprising us with the brownie, @mcdsg!
The hubby took half day off from work specially for this boy. We had a mini cake cutting ceremony at home with his favourite strawberries and he ate almost all of them, but not forgetting to feed some of them to us first. Awww. He also received a fire truck, a cap and handwritten cards from the sisters.
After that, I asked him if he would like to go outside to play more or head for Heguru lesson. He surprisingly chose the latter which is a strong sign of how much he enjoys his lessons and loves his teachers there.
We had a bonus and totally unplanned post dinner activity when we chanced upon an outdoor skating rink and the kids had half an hour of fun skating and enjoying the snow! Yes, not real ice nor snow but that joy was pure and we had fun together as a family.
The last part of his special day was spent at the supermarket, haha, as we had to get supplies for our poolside BBQ today. Yup, it's a whole weekend of celebrations and we are gonna be busy but happy! Till more updates.
Love you so much, my baby boy. Happy turning 4! ♥️

Always so happy to celebrate our nation's birthday! #笑到见牙不见眼
It's the long weekend! Woohoo! Tomorrow, the big girl will be having a dance performance at a carnival, after that we'll be going to catch a show before heading home to watch NDP. Yup, we might have seen the preview but we always, always tune in to the live telecast on the actual day, be awed by the military showcase and amazing performances, stand up to recite our pledge with pride, sing our hearts out to the national day songs, and remind ourselves and our kids just how blessed we are to be Singaporeans.
Hope everyone will have a great celebration tomorrow too! Happy 54th birthday, dear Singapore! ❤

In the blink of an eye, the boy has turned three years old.
I know, wasn't it just yesterday when I did a gender announcement using a volcano and we were looking forward to his arrival? It's really baffling to me on how quickly time flies and when you look back on the years, you realise that your little ones are not so little anymore.
Anyway, he started hanging out at arcades with us last year and showed a keen interest in playing all kinds of games, from bowling and racing cars to gun shooting and ball games. Yes, the arcade became our happy place and we would reward the kids with a trip there during the school holidays. When I was planning for his third birthday party, I knew that it would totally be a blast if Asher could have an arcade themed party to celebrate his special day with his family and friends. Even the parents and grandparents would be able to join in the fun too, doesn't that sound awesome? Thanks to Timezone Singapore, we made it happen and yes, it was such a success that I had kids coming up to tell me "This is the BEST party ever!"
Here's sharing more about our arcade party and all the highlights that took place. You can take a look at the package details, including a special discount code, at the end of the post if you are keen and oh, don't forget to check out our video too!
