Here's a tip for busy mamas! How do you fit in nutritious homemade goodness when you don't really have the time or sanity to slave in the kitchen everyday? 😅
---
Batch cook for an army then reinvent your dishes!
---
Tonight, I marinated a huge amount of ground beef and made a ridiculously huge pot of ragu sauce.
I packed it full with organic goodies like kale, red + yellow + green peppers, carrots, eggplants, mushrooms, fresh and dried herbs, quinoa flakes, garlic, onions, spinach and antioxidant-rich in season tomatoes!
---
Just to illustrate how I will use this:
MEAL 1 + 2 :
I froze half the ground meat mixture (ground beef + pork, onions, kale, eggs, quinoa flakes, crackers, garlic, seasoning) and then separated it again and saved it for hamburgers and American chili for different days. It's so great because it's already full of flavor that all I have to do is just thaw it and it will add so much depth to any dish too!
MEAL 3 + 4:
With the other half of the ground meat mixture, I rolled it up into meatballs and cooked it in the veggie-packed tomato sauce.
I served a quarter of it over ravioli w a quick fruit salad for dinner tonight.
Whatever leftovers from tonight's dinner is an easy lunch for us tomorrow!
MEAL 5 + 6 (+7 ish):
Then I mashed the rest of the meatballs into the sauce, roasted some eggplants, peppers and garlic, made a quick spinach bechamel sauce and layered it into moussaka-lasagnas. I made three portions : one for dinner tomorrow night w a green salad, one to freeze for a day I don't feel like cooking, and another for a friend!
MEAL 8:
I froze the leftover ragu that I will either defrost for a quick pasta dinner or use as a base for homemade pizza night or spread over a sub and top w cheese and grill for a yummy sandwich!
That's 8 meals in one cooking session! Woohoo! 🙌

Hi, everyone :) Today we’re going to show you how to make Japanese-style hamburger Steak (Hambagu).
Japanese Hamburger Steak, also called Hambagu (ハンバーグ), which is a popular dish in japan, usually served with rice. It’s a western style food like Tonkatsu, you can enjoy it in Yoshoku (Western-style Japanese food) restaurants, too.
Being a home dish, means it’s very easy to make. Hambagu is typically made from both ground beef and ground pork, served with worcestershire red wine sauce, it tastes flavorful and amazing juicy. You can also put some grated daikon radish on top to enjoy a different flavor. Feel hungry? Hope you enjoy this recipe. :-)
This is an #ASMR version, you can check out the other version that with BGM and Voices in Chinese if you like:

📌 How to make spring onion curls for garnish?
Just cut the green onions into sections and slice then lengthwise very thinly, place in the bowl of iced water for minutes, the green onion will curl up. Then dry with paper towel. It's down. 😊

Very easy and cute idea to enjoy your lunch or snack :D
I used 100% beef, avocado, and cheese, but the filling can be your choice!!!
---------------------------------
Rilakkuma Avocado Cheeseburger
Difficulty: Patience
Time: 30min
Number of servings: 2
Ingredients:
250g (8.8oz.) ground beef
1 sliced avocado
2 sliced cheddar cheese
2 sliced onions
2 sliced tomatoes
lettuce
1 tsp. salt
black pepper
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
hamburger buns
frankfurter (sausage)
sliced cheese
Nori seaweed sheet
Directions:
1. Put ground beef, salt, pepper, and nutmeg in a bowl, and mix well by hand until all ingredients are combined and smooth. Divide it into half, then form each into flat and round shape, little bit larger than the hamburger buns (because they shrink when they are cooked). In a frying pan or on a BBQ grill, cook the hamburger steaks and sliced onions to desired doneness.
2. Slice the hamburger buns and toast them in a frying pan or a BBQ grill. Place lettuce, sliced tomato, hamburger steak, sliced cheddar cheese, sliced onion, and avocado between the hamburger buns.
3. Make Rilakkuma's ears with boiled sausage and sliced cheese, then attach them with toothpicks. Make eyes, nose, and mouth with sliced cheese and Nori sheet.
It is slightly salty, so it is up to you to eat with ketchup!

✿ Beef Lasagne Recipe (For 2-3 people) ✿
Ingredients:
- Mozarella Cheese (I used the one pre shredded in the pack)
- Cheddar Cheese (I used a block of cheddar cheese that I grated myself)
- Parmesan cheese (to serve and to sprinkle into meat sauce)
- 1 Can of Peeled Tomatoes, chopped/diced
- 1 and a half tbsp of Tomato Paste
- 3-4 cherry tomatoes, chopped/diced
- 250g-300g minced beef, seasoned with salt and pepper
- 1 tpsb of coriander leaves, roughly chopped
- 1 large white onion, chopped/diced
- Lasagne sheets
- 1/2 tsp dried rosemary
- 1/2 tsp ground oregano
- 1 tbsp chopped garlic
- Olive oil
- Salt and pepper
Steps:
1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees celcius
2. Put some olive oil into your pot. Make sure you put your stove in medium heat.
3. Saute chopped garlic.
4. Once the aroma has risen, add in chopped white onion. Saute for around 3 minutes. There should be enough oil to cover all the onions and the heat should not burn the onion.
4. Once the aroma of the onion has risen, add in minced meat. Use your wooden spoon or ladle to break the minced meat apart so that they will not clump together as they're cooking.
5. After the minced meat is cooked (it should not be red anymore), add in chopped/diced canned tomatoes. Add in the juice from the same can of tomatoes.
6. Add in tomato paste. Stir well and let it simmer.
7. Add in chopped cherry tomatoes and stir well.
8. Add in coriander leaves
9. Add in Rosemary and oregano
10. Add salt and pepper to taste and sprinkle some parmesan cheese. Let the meat sauce simmer
11. Switch off the heat and prepare to layer your lasagne.
Assembling the Lasagne:
****I recommend using a narrower and deeper dish so that you can maximise your meat sauce and add more lasagne layers.
1. Put a layer of meat sauce in your dish
2. Sprinkle cheddar and mozzarella cheese (Amount is up to you!)
3. Take lasagne sheets and layer it on top of cheese.
4. Repeat and end off with a layer of meat sauce at the top- and sprinkle loads and loads of cheese!
5. Bake in the oven for 30mins-45mins, until the cheese bubbles or until the cheese turns golden brown.
