I don't think I could have survived the past year if not for the two of you. I see how you have matured and grown as big sisters, how you try your best to teach and tolerate your younger brother, how you dote on the baby to the moon and back, how you enjoy being little Mamas and helping to change diapers, bathe, carry and calm him when he cries, how you try your best to cope with HBL, homework and revision independently, how you care for each other and like to share girly secrets, and last but not least, how you love me and Papa too.

Growing up, I thought having two kids would be ideal but that notion changed along the way. A big part of it was because seeing the two of you grow up into who you are made me feel like it would be wonderful to have a bigger family. Indeed, both of you have welcomed your siblings with open arms and are the best daughters and best sisters I could dream of, and I am so thankful that we are where we are today.

No doubt we will still have a great deal of challenges to tackle as you two become tweens and teens in a year or two, yet somehow, I know one way or another, we are gonna be all right. No, in fact, we are gonna be more than all right. We will weather every storm hand in hand and through it all, you two will be my BFFs and hopefully, I can be someone whom you are willing to share all your ups and downs, joy and woe with too.

Thank you for making me believe that I can be a good mum and for motivating me to be even better every day. I love you, my girls. ❤

Anyway here's the question: "How do you deal with structural disadvantages in your country?"

Racism and Malay supremacy is a never ending drama in Malaysia. Growing up as a Chinese, I have always wanted to move to US and leave Malaysia for good. But later in life, through my involvement in art and culture, it connects me to my root, forging great friendships of mutual love and respect with other races and my perceptive changed.

"In my university, Malay students are generally easy-going and master of improvisation, they take care of production design and technical works, Chinese are good with figures and thus securing funds and accounting work land on their shoulders, Indian are well-spoken, hence they are good in coordination work and handle production management. Together we will be a strong team."

IMPOSTER SYNDROME IS REAL!

Imposter Syndrome is the nagging feeling that you’re not good enough to be where you are. The constant fear that one day you’ll be “found out” and everything will be taken away.

One of the biggest causes of imposter syndrome is the underlying limiting belief: “I’m not good enough.”

Because limiting beliefs are unconscious and formed in early childhood, you may not be aware of having it at all.

Suppose you grew up with parents who compared you with other kids. Or parents who rewarded or punished you for your results instead of acknowledging you for your effort. Or parents were never pleased no matter how hard you tried.

You learned from early on that the only way to get love is to achieve. Your self-worth is measured by your achievement.

If you don’t move forward, you fear you’ll be swallowed in a black hole of worthlessness.
