於2016年起，
演出結束後偶有樂迷詢問這兩首的雷同處，
我們自己皆是在這樣的情況下，第一次聽到這些歌，那時的震撼無法忘懷，隨時間流逝直到現在。
　
依創作發佈的時間點，的確是上述歌曲早於I Mean Us，這點沒有疑慮。然而，我們卻也無從解釋為什麼做出這麼相像的歌曲，這件事我們百口莫辯，信者恆信，就不再贅述。
　
創作者做出了一首歌，除了器樂的配置、聲響的操控、橋段的編排之外，概念和欲講述的情感都是貫穿整首歌曲的靈魂。而對我們而言，這兩個孩子就長這樣，我們一路走來問心無愧。
　
謝謝前來詢問我們的各位，這是非常珍貴的一課，點出了我們在音樂的洪流裡所知甚少。

I Mean Us 一路上很幸運有些貴人朋友幫忙，但我們並沒有簽經紀約給任何公司，也是跟大家一樣靠團員互相扶持，自組團隊，靠寫補助與自掏腰包一次一次完成作品與演出，再次謝謝大家的關心。

★創作背景

原來不止是我們這些魯蛇不懂女生在想什麼，連萬人迷小賈也被搞的霧撒撒(台語)，所以what do you mean就是女生嘴巴說的和心理想的可是兩回事，把話當真可是會死的很慘der.

★行銷手法
“To build anticipation, Justin enlisted a series of celebrities to help count down and preview the song on Twitter. Nine days before the official release, Justin leaked the lyrics in (according to MTV) by sending them in parts to his loyal fans (the Beliebers) via direct messages on Twitter“
除了之前小編們一直在po的預告是截取各大明星Instagram為他所做的倒數.
他的行銷團隊更在歌曲發售一星期前，把歌詞剪成好幾段透過twitter發給賈粉們(#belieber)，讓他們來拼湊出整首歌曲

►這並不是第一首小賈描述因為女生感到困惑的歌，之前就曾推出類似的 “Eenie Meenie:”
►然而這段歌詞也造成了爭議，原因是其中有句話 “When you nod your head yes, but you wanna say no(當你點頭，但卻想說不)” 讓人聯想到性侵相關問題

►這段描述了 “tryna catch the beat, make up your heart(想跟隨妳的心跳)” 雖然男生很認真的捨身處地為女孩著想，但似乎還是不知所措

►這種up down, left right的反義詞應用與Katy Perry的Hot N Cold有異曲同工之妙

►雖然小賈澄清這首歌不是針對任何人的，但這段(overprotective when I’m leaving)似乎是在描述前女友Selena Gomez與他交往時，制定了一串包括不能和其它女生單獨出去的規則
