✅ Introduction to public relations, including the real world definition, the PR’s job scope and the ol’ skool vs digital fools approach. ✅ Understanding the media landscape pre & post GE14, and the current always-on news cycle. ✅Handling and facing up to the press; from fostering “honest” good 2-way relations with the press, to pitching your stories that have value to the media and organizing press conferences that they appreciate most. ✅Writing effective press releases, crafting media invitations that attract and press briefings that have meaning. ✅ Managing your clients and stakeholders (internal and external) expectations.

The program trainer/speaker is Syed Mohammed Idid, a public relations professional with more than 27 years of Corporate PR & Consultancy experience. He is also a Fellow and EXCO member of the Public Relations Consultants Association of Malaysia (PRCAM) and The Institute of Public Relations Malaysia Council Member as well as its Chairman of the Membership & Publicity Bureau.
