「POEM」
After seeing the Jomon pottery with my own eyes, I could imagine—from the unique protrusions and patterns—the scenery, natural phenomenon, the appearance and movement of living things, the sounds, and their textures. The design that contains various fragments of information felt like a poem by the Jomon people. While they do not depict the living beings that the Jomon people consumed to survive, the artifacts conveyed their prayer and awe for the living beings that imbued them with life and I believe it is that energy that gave birth to the grotesque yet beautiful shape of Jomon pottery. This work was designed and created based on this image.

【2020南方澳鯖魚節】現場共有推廣鯖魚美食的蘇漁海鮮市集、鯖魚大樂透、抽抽樂贈獎、海鮮免費試吃品嚐以及永續海洋漁業知識宣導、洄龜少年文創市集、在地創作舞樂表演、漁港輕艇競速、懷舊滾油桶比賽等豐富精彩活動。

【2020南方澳鯖魚祭】，結合了在地學校、社區、協會與社團的力量，用精湛的工藝美學技巧，製作了一隻具有藝術價值的，非常漂亮的大鯖魚，再藉由扛大鯖魚護境踩街行動，凝聚南方澳漁民對鯖魚文化的向心力，並以「浴火重生」儀式，祈使「薪火相傳」地永續帶給南方澳源源不絕的「討海賺食」資源，用一顆感恩的心，祈使漁民豐收滿載，扶養一代代的漁民子弟。

The Nanfang'ao Mackerel Festival, been hosted for already 24 years, it focuses on the promotion of mackerel food marketing. Nanfang'ao Mackerel Ceremony had been launched for 13 years as well, it value on cultivating of the sea culture. The two long-standing activities cooperate with each other this year, from industry to culture, jointly promoting and cultivating the sustainable fishing industry in Nanfang'ao.

During the 2020 Nanfang'ao Mackerel Festival, there are lots of exciting activities such as free taste of fresh seafood market by Suao Fishermen’s Association, mackerel lottery prizes, sustainable marine industry knowledge, the cultural and creative market by Huei-Guei Studio, local creative dance performances, Kayaking in mackerel shape, the game of rolling barrels. The various activities you should not missing.

The 2020 Nanfang'ao Mackerel Ceremony organizes by team from local schools, communities, associations and social groups. They will craft a magnificent mackerel, using exquisite craftsmanship and aesthetic skills. Then, carrying this mackerel to going to parade, its aim is to protect Nanfang’ao and fishermen even everyone. It is kind of method to unite towards the mackerel cultural for Nanfang'ao fishermen's heart as well. Via the ritual of Rise from the ashes prays that the Torch passing will continue to bring the endless resources of Living off the sea to Nanfang'ao, and with a grateful heart to ensure that fishermen can harvest and support generations of fishermen's posterities.
