GOODBYE 2019 🥂 ||
Despite being a rough year, the biggest highlight in year 2019 was probably my trip to Taiwan in March.
Not because it was the longest trip I’ve ever been on, not because it’s my favourite place but that particular trip was like a detox trip. It was also then that I decided to take a leap of faith, getting out of my comfort zone to do something I’ve never thought I could. Also, I became an official photographer for the very very first time for a coffee event, a latte art throwdown to be exact. Always trying to improve my skills, constantly searching for my own style and definitely coffee exploration just got crazier with me meeting more and more people in the industry.
It’s also this year that I began to understand myself better, trying my best to be as positive despite everything that happened. My world fell apart but I’m picking myself up, hopefully I’ll be able to find my old self again. I’ve learnt that life is fragile, things happen unexpectedly, for a reason but through it all, maybe some things are better left unsaid and it’s okay to not be able to let go but do know that you’re doing great hanging in there.
Congratulations dear self for making it this far. Endurance game just got real but I know, 2020 is going to be amazing. Thank you to all of you who stayed, and to those who left, I hope that it wasn’t ended on a bad note. I’m willing to patch things up only if you try to make amends too, otherwise, maybe forever goodbye will be better.
