Wonder how I keep myself healthy and energetic?
Another secret besides having good soup often is super juice in the morning on an empty stomach. I have been taking healthy green juices for many years now. No breakfast but juice. It has improved my digestion system tremendously.
So this morning I thought I should share this little secret of mine with you all.
Many years ago, I started juicing with bittergourd, green apple, celery, ginger, cucumber and lemon which helps in managing the levels of blood sugars, cleanses liver, boost immune systerm and aids in weight loss. Then I have changed to juice without the bittergourd but everything else and sometimes with kale. 3 years ago, I started adding beetroot into my green juices. Beetroot is a good source of potassium, it helps to control blood pressure, control muscle power, slow down dementia, may prevent cancer, keep your liver healthy, reduce cholesterol and control healthy weight too! It is also a good source of iron, folate, magnesium zinc, sodium. It has been great.
* Fun fact of consuming beetroot : Your urine and stools may turn red or pinkish after eating beets. This condition is known as beeturia, is harmless! 😛
Ingredients for Mel's Super Power Juice :
. 4 celery stalks
. 1/3 of a beetroot
. 2 green apples
. one whole lemon
. 1 to 1.5 inches of Ginger
. small piece of turmeric
* Note: Do try having the small bittergourd and kale into your juice too. But do it alternately.
Lala's Power Booster Juice ingredients:
. 1 carrots or more
. 2 oranges
. 1 green apple
. one slice of lemon

Make your eggs your favourite way. I like scramble eggs for wraps.
I used Byron Bay Chilli Salsa in my wrap with some salad leaves!

Day 4 Lunch Nandos Chicken
Home made Vegetables lol. I need to get my veges in so I brought my own!
Day 4 Chicken Broth with Vegetables
This was cooked a month ago and I just freezed it in the freezer. My chicken broth is usually cooked in a slow cooker for about 24 hours. Very tasty! I add a bit of apple cider vinegar and salt. That's it!
Day 5 Prawn Salad
A bit bunch of mix salad leaves
Tomatoes
Capsicum
Byron Bay Chilli Salsa (mild)
Avocado
Purple Carrots
(Add your favourite vegetables - you can use cucumber, or even feta cheese!)
I stir fry the prawn with some coconut oil, salt, ginger powder and a bit of chilli powder too.
Grill the liver in the oven for about 10-15 minutes at 200 degree celsius. Then mashed it into minced liver.
Now cook capsicum with coconut oil and add kale and cook for another minute. Set it aside
Use more coconut oil and pan fry the minced liver! Add some salt, apple cider vinegar, ginger powder and coconut aminos.

蘋果橙汁:蘋果 1,橙 1.5,果醋 2 tbsp
蘋果羽衣甘藍汁:羽衣甘藍 1,蘋果 1/2,香蕉 1,水 250ml
做法:
1. 用攪拌機將蔬果攪拌好就可以了!

- Morning (Red): 70g Blueberry, 110g Raspberry, 10g Plain Yogurt, 240ml Milk
- Lunch (Orange): 1 Apple, 1.5 Orange, 2 Tbsp Fruit Vinegar
- Dinner (Green _ Detox Juice): 1 Leaf Kale, 1/2 Apple, 1 Banana, 250ml Water
▪ DIRECTIONS:
1. Blend 70g blueberry, 110g raspberry, 10g plain yogurt and 240ml of milk with Lock & Lock hand blender.
2. Pour it into Lock & Lock Chess bottle. Close the lid and take it with you.
3. Blend 1 apple, 1.5 orange and 2 Tbsp of fruit vinegar with Lock & Lock Hand Blender.
4. Pour it into Lock & Lock Chess bottle. Close the lid and take it with you.
5. Blend 1 leaf of kale, 1/2 apple, 1 banana and 250ml of water with Lock & Lock Hand Blender.
6. Pour it into Lock & Lock Chess bottle. Close the lid and take it with you.
