🔴MY REVIEW: I absolutely love this product. I have been taking this product for a month and I have noticed an increase in energy and my nails are stronger. Overall, I’m very happy with this product and will continue to use it.

🔴MY REVIEW: This one is a unisex fragrance of CK ONE, which is suitable for both men and women. Let me talk about the appearance of the perfume, just like the simple style in the past. Besides, the smell of perfume is very special. The top notes are my favorite bergamot and lemon, the middle notes are floral, and the after notes are amber sandalwood and so on. The perfume will melt into my body for about 15 minutes after spraying out. There is no strong scent, only simple and faint scent. Anyway, the taste I like. If you also like light scents, this perfume is really not to be missed.

🔴MY REVIEW: This 3D disposable medical mask is from MEDEIS. My box of masks is named RUSTIC. It contains masks in four colors. This mask has passed the liquid barrier ability test and can effectively block droplets. What I like most is that this mask has high air permeability to ensure breathing comfort, and the mask has a 6mm soft earloop, which makes it feel comfortable to wear. The most important thing is that my skin is super sensitive. After wearing a normal mask for less than half an hour, my skin will become redness and sensitive. This mask gives me a very comfortable feeling. I wear this mask at work. The skin has not been sensitive all day long, it is worthy of my recommendation.

為一位母親看產後傷口，與她閒話家常時她提到擔心小寶寶有鬥雞眼，我雖然知道大部分的時候 亞洲小寶寶「看起來」的鬥雞眼是假性的，我還是請他給小兒科醫師評估過確定不需要轉診眼科，才讓他比較放心 。為此我特別詢問了小兒科與眼科醫師的想法，在此彙整出幾點給大家參考。

>亞裔小朋友的眼瞼內折在靠近鼻子的地方比較寬，造成靠近鼻子部分的眼白被遮蔽住，因此會產生「看起來像鬥雞眼」的假性內斜視。

>假性內斜視的小朋友，眼睛位置是正常的，長大之後也會因為臉型的變化，看起來的鬥雞眼會越來越不明顯。

>利用照相閃光燈，或固定光源，可以比用肉眼更精確的評估眼睛位置。因為角膜上的反射光應處在相同位置，(見圖）這個簡單的檢查叫做Hirschberg Test，是一位姓 Hirshberg 的醫生發明的。

>真正的嬰兒型內斜視其實不常見，歐美的小朋友發生率約為百分之一，而亞洲的小朋友發生率約為千分之一。發生的原因不明，但家族病史，早產兒或腦病變，都有可能增加發生的機率。

>嬰兒型內斜視不僅可能造成弱視，立體視也會受影響。一般建議在2 歲前開刀有比較好的機會保護立體視覺，而弱視必須依靠遮蔽治療。

>極少數的真正內斜視有可能是因為更嚴重的眼睛甚至中樞神經問題，尤其是眼睛轉動有問題時，所以小兒科與眼科的評估很重要。

I spoke with an anxious mother about her concern of her newborn’s eyes turning in. Although I know that most apparent “eye turns” in Asian babies turn out to be false alarms I still referred her baby to a paediatrician for evaluation. I spoke to a paediatrician and an ophthalmologist since then and gathered a few points which are summarised below:

>Asian babies have wider “epicanthal fold” -- the excess skin fold close to the nose. This skin fold occludes the white part of the eye (sclera) more on the inner corner than the outer corner of the eye thus creating an illusion that the eye turns inwards. This is what we call pseudo-esotropia if the eyes are found to be in the centre position.

>Kids with “pseudo-esotropia” tend to look less “esotropic” when they grow up because your facial structure change a lot during the first 6 years of growth.

>There is a simple test called Hirshberg Test used by doctors to assess alignment of the eyes using a single light source or the flash-light of a camera to create corresponding reflections on the cornea of both eyes. >A true “infantile esotropia” is rare, occurs in the order of 1 in 1000 for Asian babies (1 in 100 for Caucaisans) for unclear reasons. However, family history, prematurity and some congenital diseases can increase your risk of esotropia.

>Infantile esotropia can cause amblyopia (“lazy eyes”) and affect stereopic vision. Many experts agree that operations before the age of 2 is acceptable to prevent worsening of stereopic vision. Whereas amblyopia requires occlusion therapy to improve vision (not surgery).

>Some rare causes of true esotropia in infants include serious eye and central nervous system disorders. So evaluation by paediatricians and ophthalmologists is important.

I have combination, acne prone, sensitive skin.
Both my cheeks are ultra dry but my forehead and nose are filled with oil/ sebum! Literally an oily disco ball..
Acne prone-- hmm I do have comedogenic pimples previously when I was a teenager. I guess from 16-19 yr old. This nightmare comes back when I don't sleep/eat well, drink enough H2O and when I'm under stress. I'm also prone to acne due to hormonal imbalances, thus I tend to breakout during pms.

I went to bed with a camera next to me so when I wake up, I can film the whole process. I actually had trouble sleeping because I had a terrible migraine so I woke up looking extra tired. My skin isn't in best condition either because I had an allergic reaction to the makeup used on me for our PreWedding Photoshoot. Hope you guys don't mind ^^

To be honest, I had no idea how I was going to do my makeup, hair or nails. Bubz, why are you wearing white to a Wedding?
I actually wore a cream dress and I wore a pink jacket (which I never took off) to break up the light tones. However, might be worth mentioning the bride actually wore many many dresses throughout the night of different colours. I remember seeing a gold dress, then two white dresses and two red gowns. If this is the case, us girls wouldn't have been allowed to wear a lot of colours lol. In Hong Kong/China, a lot of the brides wear up to 7-8 dresses and from what I know, it's not a problem for guests to wear white. To be honest, even in my actual wedding day (for the Western Ceremony etc), I don't think I'll be too bothered either? But maybe that's just personal preference.

Hello my ninja babies,

For this Girl Talk episode, a lot of you requested for a video on 'Beginners Guide to a Starter Makeup Kit" so I hope this video will be helpful. I'm glad you guys are asking for beauty topics too and not just 'relationship-related' topics. Definitely more to life than men right? ^_^

I purchased a new Lighting System recently and I was so excited to test it out. I think I had the lights too close to me because the lamps were totally reflecting off my cheeks lol. Can see the rectangle shapes! Yeah, made my face look mega shiny. Bear with me. I'm trying to work out the composition. They take up like half of my living room already... What to do... aiyah.

In a nutshell, I really recommend to start light and take it easy. When I first started off with makeup, I put EVERYTHING on my face without much knowledge of knowing how to use each product. I look back and I cringe so much at my major makeup mistakes lol. Yep, I went to school with an orange face and badly blended crazy blue eyeshadow. Before you buy anything. Make sure you do a little research and check out what other people think of them (makeupalley is a site a lot of women use).

Gradually build up your kit. You may be happy with a small makeup bag of makeup. You may end up with a vanity table of makeup. You may be very passionate about it. You may just wear it for presentation for your everyday life/work. It's cool. Whatever floats your boat ^_^

Make subtle changes first and just be sure to not let the makeup wear you. Be in control ^_^. Of course, remember to be hygienic with your makeup too.

Ps. My hair is still long. I have to wait until after my big sister's wedding before I can cut it says mummy!
