A highly ranked standup martial artist, Ric Barnhill, recently visited Tiger Muay Thai over the last few weeks. Barnhill is a professional Thai Boxer competing internationally at the highest level and is the owner and head instructor at Supergym Thai Boxing in Knutsford, Cheshire United Kingdom.

"I am grateful for every moment and I enjoy Thai Boxing as much now as I ever have done," said Barnhill.

With over fourteen years experience in the sport, Barnhill is a current fighter and is one of the UK's top light middleweights, he has been within the Top five of the UK independent rankings for five years.

Barnhill trains and manages the fighters in the Supergym fight team that are one of the most active teams in UK who now compete both nationally and internationally. The Supergym fight team has competed for eighteen titles in the last two years.

Barnhill has appeared on some of the biggest worldwide promotions including Showtime, K1 Max, Superpro Enfusion, Klash Battlefields, Contender Asia, Muay Thai Legends and Italian Extreme & Legends.

Barnhill holds the titles of: ICO light middle weight World Champion, Goldenbelt light middle weight World Champion,
Enfusion TV champions world tournament 3rd place
IKF European super welterweight champion, British super welterweight champion, British light middleweight champion
IKF and Kombat league world title challenger

The currently #9 ranked welterweight in the UFC, "The Stun Gun," Dong Hyun Kim. Hyun Kim recently stopped by Tiger Muay Thai and MMA Training Camp to hold a seminar on takedowns and grappling and improve his Muay Thai skills. Hyun Kim(19-3) a veteran of the DEEP promotion has beaten some of the top contenders including Nate Diaz, Matt Brown, Erick Silva and T.J. Grant Hyun Kim has stepped in the UFC cage 14 times with a record of 10-3-1 and is also a 4th degree Judo black belt.
Dong Hyun Kim will square off against Josh Burkman in a welterweight clash at UFC 187. The already stacked card is headlined by UFC championship title shots, light heavyweights Jon Jones vs. Anthony Johnson and middleweight bout Chris Weidman vs. Vitor Belfort.

UFC fighter, Patrick Côté, recently stopped by Tiger Muay Thai in preparation for his upcoming UFC bout. Patrick Côté. Côté(20-8) is a Canadian mixed martial artist who currently fights as a Welterweight and is a 15-time UFC veteran. Côté has fought the likes of Anderson Silva, Tito Ortiz and Cung Lee. He is the former MFC Middleweight Champion, TKO Middleweight Champion, TKO Light Heavyweight Champion, and has also fought in King of the Cage.
Côté, coming off a decision win as Team Canada's head coach in the season of The Ultimate Fighter Nations Canada vs. Australia against Kyle Noke.

This is Côté's second training camp in preparation for an upcoming UFC bout. Côté will be fighting Stephen Thomposn at UFC 178, also on the card is Tiger Muay Thai MMA coach, Brian Ebersole and is headlined by flyweight championship fight between Demetrious Johnson and Chris Cariaso.
