I’ve sized up. 👖I love these jeans. So much so that I have them in 2 sizes. Lately they’ve been getting a little too tight, especially after meals, so I decided it was time to go up a size. I recognise it’s a little odd to buy non-maternity wear in different sizes. But I love having “normal” clothes that fit. And more importantly, clothes that still make me feel like me. I call this the in denial stage of pregnancy dressing. It will last until I move on to the in dresses only stage in a few weeks. I call this the in denial stage of pregnancy dressing. It will last until I move on to the in dresses only stage in a few weeks. Stay tuned for that 😂🤰🏽

Then vs now. 😂 I really do pick up most things on the floor with my toes now; bending and squatting down are both getting quite challenging.
Haven’t been posting pictures of myself for a while, because I’m a big mama and most of the time I’m sloppily clad in my most comfy super-oversized home clothes. And that’s not the most ig-inspiring / social-media-likes-worthy, is it? Do I wish I am the slim mama-to-be who can don beautiful tight-fit dresses that shows off my sleek maternity curves in a tastefully sexy and fashionably appealing manner? Well...no. I’m so grateful that this pregnancy has enabled me to be my most comfortable self, I am most at ease when I don’t have to doll up. Every mama is different, so if you are a glam mama and you feel happy dressing up, then do it! With social media, there are more than enough inspiration and role models for glam mamas. So I’ll just buck the trend a little for now and reach out to all the mamas who prefer things simple: it’s ok to not doll up and be social-media-pretty! Just be yourself, be comfortable and be happy. Because happy mummy=happy baby=happy daddy=happy family. (And yes it HAS TO be in this particular order, at least during pregnancy and for the first year of motherhood.) 😂
