What's in 2019?
I remembered back in 2016, I didn't have a great race in that day, but I gave my best effort and fight till the end. I told myself that day, I will be back and improve the timing.
In 2017, I came back as the Fastest Malaysian (behind a Kenyan) and this time an almost 2 min improvement from 2016.
In 2018, I fight again and this time I came back once again as the Fastest Malaysia (behind the same Kenyan) and a 4 min improvement from 2016 also my best 10k time in Malaysia (PR at Sundown Taipei 10k 33:26 min, running at 14°C).
So what's in 2019? T-50 Days to SCKLM.
SCKLM 10km Speed
Body condition not in shape after the AUG and the Taiwan Trip. Body have not fully recover from the 5,000m and 10,000m events two weeks ago. Have been racing a lot and body have not recover from all this road races and track events. That's the important of off season.
Not able to keep up with my training partner AwanRun after 3km. The first three km are fast but after that I felt a little dizzy and eventually slow down the pace. Just feel like giving up at the beginning when all these hits me. Thinking of slow myself down and aim to finish the race no matter what.
Do not want to have another DNF in my running career. Nike We Run KL is the one and only DNF race in my life. And so finish the race with 7th position in Men Open category. 37:37 minutes for a 10.29km clocked on my Garmin Forerunner 630 GPS watch.
Thanks to all my sponsor who came into my running career. I believe I will be back stronger.
SCKLM 2017 10km speed gonna be my target race for next year. I will be back. Need to climb up from where I fall.
