my first #SoundHealing talk! there is so much misunderstanding around natural therapies. some aren’t sure what it is exactly and some are worried about occult affiliations. so it was a great honour & pleasure to have 1.5 hours to introduce Sound Healing properly - it’s history, scientific background, as well as spiritual perspectives. thank you for having me for this Mental Health Awareness month event! I was so happy when one of the attendees said that he didn’t buy into Sound Healing at all before but I changed his mind. I just want more people to know that these natural options are out there to help our health.

I AM ANGRY 😡
Through The Screen (MCO Series)
⭐️ in collaboration with @cxpturingsouls
Photographer’s statement:
•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
A while back, I messaged Emma to invite her to join this series. We took this opportunity to explore and express our feelings that we felt during MCO and created a special collection also in conjunction of Mental Health Awareness Month (May). Emma asked me to type out what I’ve been feeling and she incorporated it into make up looks. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
The first part of this collection is ANGER. Anger was one of the first few feelings that creeped in my mind in the first week of MCO. Being under MCO meant that our daily routines and our constants would be disrupted, and it also meant social distancing with no choice to go anywhere or do anything outdoors. It was frustrating to hear that there were people who weren’t cooperating and taking this situation lightly. All we want is for this to be over as soon as possible but there were people who were delaying that from happening and possibly making things worst than it already is. I admit that I’m a workaholic, I’m always looking for something to do and being under MCO definitely prevented me from my usual routine of shooting outdoors. It meant that my scheduled work needed to be postponed or cancelled. It was frustrating that I couldn’t do things that I usually did to express my creativity and for the first few weeks I was stuck in my own head and had a creative block. I saw a lot of my friends who were creating new things and I was frustrated with myself that I was stuck in my head. The anger slowly subsided but another feeling creeped in and that my friends, is depression. I’ll be sharing about that in my next post.
•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
To whoever that is reading this. We are in this together whether during a pandemic or not. We’ll get through this together 💕

I'm so sorry if you have watched this video on my Beauty channel already. Just trying to spread as much awareness as possible!!I hope you guys don't mind!!
Last week, it occurred to me that I’ve been making videos for almost 9 years now. It’s been an incredible decade where I’ve been able to learn so much. Thank you for inspiring me all these years and teaching me how to be bold. You have made my journey on Youtube so amazing. What a better way to celebrate 9 years than to do something incredible and life changing again.
Last year, together with your help, we managed to make difference to over 200 children’s lives in Laos. We did that together!! Let’s not stop here. Let’s make the world an even brighter place.
LET’S BUILD MORE SCHOOLS TOGETHER!!! Next stop, Ghana!
So many of us take our education for granted. We complain about waking up early, being bored in class, being swamped with homework when in reality, so many children in the world would do ANYTHING to be able to …well, to read and write. Being able to read/write might not be something you think much about but it can make all the difference for a child’s life. Education is the only way forward to transform a person’s life. Nobody can grow if they cannot learn.
Today, over 250 million children of primary school age lack basic reading, writing and math skills. This leads to health and sanitation problems, gender inequality, lack of teachers, infrastructural challenges and many more issues.
This year, let’s aim high. The goal is to raise $105,000 to build THREE schools for the children in Ghana. I know it’s a huge goal but let’s just focus on doing the best we can. If we can build one school, FANTASTIC. If we can build two schools, FANTASTIC. If we can build three schools, FANTASTIC!
It would mean the WORLD to myself and the children of Ghana if you can support the cause whether it’s:
1. Purchasing a garment (designed by yours truly)
2. Purchasing the Be… Palette (desighed by yours truly again. They till donate $2 of every Be Palette to Pencils Of Promise only in the month of November)
3. Being a rock star by donating straight to the cause. Any amounts big or small will be hugely appreciated.
Everything you need is in one simple page. Click here: http://bit.ly/bubzschools
There will be more exciting designs to share so stay tuned. If you don’t have the money to purchase/donate, that is ok. You can make all the difference by sharing this video. Either way, I am super thankful for you. You guys are the reason the two schools happened and hopefully the reason for more to be built.
Let’s keep building people. You want love. You got to give it out. It will only multiply to come back to you. You guys taught me how to be the best that I can be. Now it’s our turn to show these children they CAN be the best that they can be.
Thank you so much for watching this video. Whether you are a silent water or comment frequently, I’m truly grateful for you. Thank you for being here by my side yet again as I walk this mission. Now my question is, will you join me too?
On behalf of the children of Ghana, thank you for your support. Thank you once again, for showing me that life is all about being.
Love, your friend Bubz xo
Ps. I sound a little different because I just got my voice back from a viral infection. Husky is better than no voice ^_^.
