毎度のごとく近況報告からさせてください。

昨日もお伝えしましたが、クラウドファンディング「SILKHAT」内で立ち上げたプロジェクト「西野亮廣オンライン講演会 ~マーケティング講座 【上級編】~」の受講者が現時点で２３００人を突破しました。

以前、出版した『革命のファンファーレ』という本では「いかにして、絵本『えんとつ町のプペル』を届けるか？」をベースに書いたのですが、今回の講演会は「いかにして、映画『えんとつ町のプペル』を届けるか？」をベースに、様々なサービスに転用できるマーケティングの話をしたいと思います。

そして、お知らせがもう一点。

昨夜、思いついて、今、猛スピードで準備している最中なのですが、１０月３１日ってハロウィンじゃないですか？

また、あたらめてお知らせしますが、この日の朝７時頃に映画『えんとつ町のプペル』に関する、かなり本気の動画を公開することになっておりまして、ここでも一盛り上がりを作ろうと思うんですね。

で、実は、その後のスケジュールは「制作日」として一日空けていたのですが、でも、せっかくハロウィンで、一応、映画『えんとつ町のプペル』の主人公は「ハロウィン・プペル」という、ハロウィンの日に生まれたバケモノなんです。

でもって、その映画が今年公開される。

ここで、何かしないのも変だなぁと思って、後にも先にもないく「今年限り」で、僕が「プペル」の仮装をして、お客さんと一緒に写真を撮るイベントを開催しようかなぁと思っております。

コロナ対策として、検温やら何やらを徹底して、限定２００組を時間で区切って募集して、順に撮影していこうかと。

もちろん、その写真をSNSにアップするのはオッケーです。

というわけで、今日の本題です。

今日は「完璧な答えが出るまで動かない人は、結局、最後まで動かない」というテーマでお話ししたいと思います。



僕は、自分の好感度を上げる為によく支援活動や寄付活動なんかをしているのですが、そんなことをしていると、時々、「今回、支援の対象にならなかった人はどうするんですか？」とか言われるんですね。

とか、街の本屋さんを応援したくて、本屋さんで本を買う運動をしていたら、「本屋さんを助けたければ、魚のあげるのではなくて、魚の釣り方を教えるべきだ」みたいな過去、数百億回こすられた言葉を投げてくる方がいる。



これって結構、支援活動とかしている人が言われる「あるある」なんですけども…



これは「二つ」完全に間違っていて…



まず一つは「行政の活動と個人の活動の区別がついていない」という点。

それぞれ何が違うかというと、予算の出どころが違うんですね。
行政の活動は税金で、個人の活動は、個人のお金で賄われています。

税金を支払っている以上、国民には税金の使い道に口を挟む権利はあるのですが、個人のお金の使い道に口を挟む権利なんて、１ミクロンもありません。

その人が働いて稼いだお金を、風俗に使おうが、パチンコに使おうが、寄付に使おうが、その人の勝手で、間違っても、そこは他人が口を挟める領域ではない。


これって、メチャクチャ当たり前のことだと思うのですが、この線引きができない人って、結構、多いです。

想像してください。

コンビニでコーラを買っている時に、横から中年がやってきて、腕をガッと掴んで、「コーラを買うぐらいなら、そのお金は、アフリカの子供達に使うべきだ」とか言ってきたら、恐怖じゃないですか？

「そう思うのならば、お前がしろ」って話じゃないですか。
お前の、その謎活動をしている時間を、アフリカの子供達に充てろよ、と(笑)


まずは、「口を挟んじゃいけない領域の線引きができていない」というのが一点ですね。



で、次に、これは本当にやめた方がいいと思うのですが…たとえば、本屋さんで本を買う応援活動に対して、「本屋さんを助けたければ、魚のあげるのではなくて、魚の釣り方を教えるべきだ」みたいなことを言ってくる、一見、いいこと言っている風のオジサンっているじゃないですか？

これが今日の本題なのですが、「じゃあ、何かい？」と。

本屋さんを応援しようと思ったら、「本屋さんが未来永劫、安定して収益をあげられるシステム」を構築するまで、本屋さんの応援はしちゃダメなのか？

ファンがアーティストを応援しようと思ったら、CDやグッズを買うのではなくて、応援しているアーティストが５年後も１０年後も食っていけるシステムを構築するまで、ファンは動いちゃダメなのか？

正解を出せるまで動いちゃダメなのか？



そうじゃないでしょ？



何事も、まずは自分ができる範囲で、自分ができることから始めて、試行錯誤を繰り返して、そして正解に辿りつくわけじゃないですか？

僕は今、かなり大きな規模のアニメーション映画を作っているのですが、最初は、遡ること１５年前。
0.03ミリのボールペン一本で描き始めたんですね。当然、仲間はいないし、この活動が求められているかどうかも分からない。

それに対して、「ボールペンでせっせと描いてるけど、今の、世界レベルのエンタメは、○○だから」と言われても、「……そんなことは分かってるけど、今の僕には、これしかできないし、これをやらないと次のステージにいけないじゃないか」という話じゃないですか。

２５歳の僕は、今みたく、何千万円とか、何億円という予算を使える力はないので。
ボールペン一本で始めるしか、始まらないんです。


正解までの道のりを模索している人間に対して、いきなり正解をぶつけてきて、「そんなことでは、解決にならないから」みたいなマウントをとってく人に対しては、「それって、他人にアドバイスをしているようで、【動かない自分】を正当化する為の言葉だろ？」と思うんです。

いきなり答えが出せるわけがないんだから、間違ってでも、まずは一歩踏み出さなきゃいけない。
「歩き始めなきゃ、辿り着かない」という当たり前の話です。

ซึ่งรัฐบาลก็ถูกวิจารณ์ถึงความล่าช้าในการเตรียมความพร้อม และขาดแคลนอุปกรณ์ทางการแพทย์ที่จำเป็น รวมทั้งมาตรการช่วยเหลือต่างๆ ในช่วงล็อกดาวน์ ก็ยังไม่เพียงพอในมุมมองของประชาชน

ที่สำคัญคือ โควิด-19 อาจเป็นตัวเร่งให้วิกฤติเศรษฐกิจที่รัสเซียกำลังเผชิญอยู่ ทวีความรุนแรงมากยิ่งขึ้น

รัสเซียพึ่งพารายได้จากอุตสาหกรรมน้ำมันเป็นหลัก
โดยมีแหล่งน้ำมันดิบสำรอง 80,000 ล้านบาร์เรล สูงเป็นอันดับ 8 ของโลก และผลิตน้ำมันดิบได้ 10.8 ล้านบาร์เรลต่อวัน สูงเป็นอันดับ 3 ของโลก

ในปี 2019 การส่งออกผลิตภัณฑ์ปิโตรเลียม มีมูลค่าอยู่ที่ 6.3 ล้านล้านบาท คิดเป็น 45% ของมูลค่าการส่งออกทั้งหมด และ 40% ของรายได้รัฐบาล

แต่ทว่าปัญหาความขัดแย้งระหว่างรัสเซียกับซาอุดีอาระเบีย ในเรื่องการลดกำลังผลิตเพื่อรับมืออุปสงค์ที่ลดลงจากการระบาดของโควิด-19 นั้น ได้ก่อให้เกิดสงครามราคาขึ้น และส่งผลกระทบโดยตรงต่อรายได้ของรัสเซีย ที่จะหายไปมหาศาล

โดยราคาน้ำมันดิบเบรนท์ เมื่อต้นปีเคลื่อนไหวอยู่บริเวณ 60 ดอลลาร์สหรัฐต่อบาร์เรล ได้ปรับตัวลงต่ำสุด 20 ดอลลาร์สหรัฐต่อบาร์เรล

สุดท้าย กลุ่มผู้ผลิตน้ำมันเพื่อการส่งออก (OPEC) และประเทศพันธมิตรนอกกลุ่ม ก็ต้องหันมาเจรจาตกลงร่วมกันอยู่ดี โดยในเดือนพฤษภาคม-มิถุนายน 2020 มีเป้าหมายลดกำลังการผลิตทั้งหมด 9.7 ล้านบาร์เรลต่อวัน ซึ่งคาดว่าเป็นส่วนของรัสเซียถึง 2.5 ล้านบาร์เรลต่อวัน

ประกอบกับก่อนหน้านี้ รัสเซียถูกประเทศมหาอำนาจคว่ำบาตรทางเศรษฐกิจมาตั้งแต่ปี 2014 จากกรณีบุกยึดดินแดนไครเมีย

การค้าขายกับต่างประเทศที่ลดลง ทำให้นักลงทุนขาดความเชื่อมั่นและเทขายสินทรัพย์ออกมา จนสกุลเงินรูเบิลอ่อนค่าลงไปมาก

ปี 2013 เงิน 1 ดอลลาร์สหรัฐ แลกเปลี่ยนได้ 32.9 รูเบิล
ปัจจุบัน เงิน 1 ดอลลาร์สหรัฐ แลกเปลี่ยนได้ 72.5 รูเบิล

ดังนั้นบริษัทรัสเซียที่มีหนี้สินในสกุลเงินดอลลาร์สหรัฐ จะมีภาระการจ่ายคืนดอกเบี้ยและเงินต้นที่มากขึ้น รวมทั้งมีต้นทุนนำเข้าสินค้าที่สูงขึ้น หรือถูกห้ามทำธุรกรรมไปเลย

คงไม่ผิดถ้าบอกว่า พายุลูกต่างๆ ที่ถาโถมเข้าใส่รัสเซียตอนนี้ เป็นเหมือน Perfect Storm สำหรับปูติน

หากสถานการณ์การระบาดของโควิด-19, ราคาน้ำมันที่ตกต่ำ และการถูกคว่ำบาตร ยังคงดำเนินต่อไปเรื่อยๆ
เศรษฐกิจรัสเซียก็มีความเสี่ยงสูงที่จะถดถอยรุนแรงกว่าประเทศอื่นๆ

และไม่แน่ว่าบางที มันอาจกระทบถึงสิ่งสำคัญที่ลึกไปกว่านั้น
นั่นคือฐานอำนาจที่กำลังสั่นคลอนของ วลาดิเมียร์ ปูติน

เพราะแม้แต่การทำประชามติ เพื่อให้ปูตินอยู่ในตำแหน่งได้ยาว ยังถูกเลื่อนออกไปอย่างไม่มีกำหนด
และเมื่อมีการลงคะแนนจริงแล้ว ก็ไม่รู้ว่าผลจะออกมาอย่างไร

ถ้าตอนนี้ไปถามว่า ศัตรูที่ทำให้เขาลำบากใจที่สุดคือใคร?
คำตอบที่ได้ อาจไม่ใช่ทั้ง ดอนัลด์ ทรัมป์ สหรัฐอเมริกา หรือซาอุดีอาระเบีย
แต่เป็นสิ่งที่ไม่มีใครมองเห็น ชื่อว่า โควิด-19..

We have no revenue coming in, 96% of our fleet is grounded and we still have significant ongoing financial commitments such as fuel suppliers and leasing agents.

We are doing everything possible to reduce costs during this time so we can come back fighting as fast as possible and continue to be the world’s best low cost carrier, enabling everyone the ability to fly with our great value and service.

We are one of the few airlines world over who has kept all of our staff on. AirAsia is a family and there are tens of thousands of Allstars who depend on the business for their livelihoods and the wellbeing of their own families. Kamarudin and I will not be taking a salary during this period and Allstars from across the business have accepted temporary pay reductions of anywhere between 15-75%, depending on seniority, to share the impact this is having on our business. I thank them for their sacrifice and in keeping the big picture in mind as we navigate this together.

In spite of all these challenges, I want to assure you that AirAsia is strong and remains firmly focused on the future and serving you, our guests. I also want to express my heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all of you for your loyalty to AirAsia and I hope that you and your loved ones are healthy and well throughout this trying time. I’m truly sorry that many of your travel plans have been affected. Like all airlines, AirAsia had no choice but to cancel a large number of flights due to government restrictions in an effort to contain the spread of COVID-19.

I know many of you have expressed frustration with not receiving a refund for your flights but I encourage you to accept a credit as a good alternative. More than 80 percent of you have accepted our credit offer and we truly appreciate this. Please know that our policy is in line with many operators in the travel industry and reflects our focus on coming out the other side of this difficult period and flying with you again as soon as possible. We have ensured that we adhere to all regulations and requirements of respective governments and consumer authorities and believe this is the best solution. You are among the over 600 million guests who have flown AirAsia and can’t wait to fly with you again once this is over.

While we strongly encourage you to accept the credit which is instant and comes with a 365-day validity and allows you to change your flight date for an unlimited number of times, we do accept requests for refund on a case by case basis. However, due to the overwhelming number of requests that we have received, it may take a long process of between 12 to 16 weeks.

I also want to acknowledge the comments I’ve seen about our virtual Allstar AVA. Please know that we take your feedback seriously and my team is making improvements to the system daily. Currently, our team and AVA are handling 10 times the normal volume of queries, which is now at about half a million guests on a daily basis.

We are working tirelessly, around the clock, to provide assistance to each and every one of you. We’ve mobilised additional support to our customer happiness team, including 1,800 Allstars from other functions, who have rolled up their sleeves and volunteered to help, so more live agents are available to assist you via our LiveChat, Facebook Messenger, Twitter & WeChat 24/7.

We’ve never had a time like this before and we are doing our best. We are not always perfect but we strive to do all we can for our people and our customers at all times. This is unprecedented but it is also temporary and we will be back, stronger than before, repainting the skies red and making sure everyone can fly again.
