解禁來開喝 – Drinks & Co.
法國政府還未完全解禁, 人民已經自主超前部署解禁了. 昨天一個美式足球冠軍賽結束後, 球員與上千球迷狂歡… 當然是沒有口罩, 沒有距離的大肆慶祝.
地方省長震怒: 不但沒有遵守防疫規則, 這場球賽裡也太多人了, 超過規定的5000人! 一定要嚴懲!
巴黎Invalides草坪上數百人用網路連絡聚集開露天趴, 晚上11點宵禁時間到了還不散, 巴黎政府動用警消驅散.
對比封城時的百業蕭條, 現在是滿街露天座, 即使現在巴黎觀光客仍舊很少, 卻是到處人滿為患, 水洩不通.
除了非常多的店面招租之外, 新的品牌店面如香菇般出現, 每天都有新香菇, 一點一點地改變巴黎面貌, 商業重新洗牌.
很多人可能還不知道, 位在瑪德蓮大道上巴黎最大的葡萄酒專賣店Lavinia關閉了, 將搬到觀光客較少經過的16區Avenue Victor Hugo去(6月15日開幕). 以後對觀光客(和不是住在富人區的巴黎人)來說, 再也很難不小心經過Lavinia, 順便進去逛逛了.
Lavinia這個重大決定的背後原因很多, 其中一個是應對網路銷售量逐漸超越店面, 一個位在市中心的店面並非那麼的必要.
疫情之後, 多數行業都改變了經營模式或是商業結構. 如果Lavinia轉型主攻網路銷售, 另一家酒界天王Pernod Ricard(保樂力加)則從原本代理經銷酒類飲料的幕後, 走向台前. 開了一家綜合旗艦店Drinks & Co.
過去幾年巴黎酒類飲料的流行開始大轉變, 原本葡萄酒獨佔頭鰲 – 無論是餐廳還是社交話題 – 的地位逐漸被各種其他酒類瓜分: 精釀啤酒, 威士忌, 調酒, 清酒, 蘭姆酒… 葡萄酒不再是唯一有品味的飲料.
看準這個分眾的酒精市場, 本身是世界前幾名的酒類集團(根據維基, 為世界第二大葡萄酒與烈酒的生產集團, 也是超級代理商)原本旗下就擁有絕對強勢的資源(要甚麼酒有甚麼酒, 要多高級有多高級), 開家甚麼酒都有的店, 對別人來說不容易, 對保樂力加則是小菜一碟.
在巴黎要弄到這樣的地點, 這麼大的空間也真是不容易: 在Saint-Lazare車站旁. 因為是L型店面, 我和朋友約了, 卻各自站在不同入口等對方.
老實說, 近來店裡就是一個眼花撩亂: 從天花板到酒架上的產品, 到吧檯後面的酒牆, 到各處隨放的推車(這個訂製的推車很有趣, 關起來就是個站立型桌子, 可以站著喝酒).
這裡有甚麼呢? 你想像得到的差不多都有: 1200款酒類(葡萄酒, 蘭姆, 威士忌, 干邑, 清酒, 啤酒, 伏特加…) 而且有150款無酒精飲料.
看到了, 還有我們台灣的噶瑪蘭威士忌!
是個選擇超級多的酒專賣店, 這裡也有調酒, 還可以(付費)試飲威士忌在決定要不要買(這一點很不錯), 也可以來上調酒課. 品酒課… 還可以幫你在酒瓶子上刻名字客製化你的伴手禮…
當然, 可以坐下來喝一杯, 喫點小東西. 我和朋友在很有氣氛的長廊座位上點了兩種調酒. 朋友點帶苦味的抹茶(好像比較無趣, 抹茶到處都在玩啊…), 我則點了看起來很炫的會變色的蝴蝶夫人(符合主題男變女嘛!).
酒吧調酒的high light是鏡照調酒Mirroir: 雙胞調酒一是有酒精一是無酒精, 雖然外表看起來一模一樣(嘗起來則略有不同. 有無酒精酒鬼們一喝就知道了啊)
抹茶和蝴蝶夫人上桌都是兩杯一對, 看起來沒有差別. 我的蝴蝶夫人旁邊還有一個小杯檸檬汁. 澳洲籍調酒師用英文講半天, 說要把倒進去才能讓蝴蝶夫人變色.
啊就蝶豆花遇酸變色嘛, 這個法國人可能會很驚豔, 台灣人可是人人都知道的啦.
雖然小驚喜變得不驚喜, 不過在這個拱型走廊下和朋友相聚, 喝小酒, 還是非常開心的.

“Whiskey là một loại đồ uống có chứa cồn được sản xuất từ ngũ cốc bằng cách lên men và chưng cất. Từ Whisky được nhắc đến lần đầu tiên vào năm 1736 xuất phát từ usisge beatha trong tiếng Gaelic tại Scotland hay từ uisce beatha trong tiếng Gaelic tại Ireland và có nghĩa là "nước của cuộc sống" (uisge/uisce: "nước", beatha: "sống"). Khái niệm này đã phổ biến ngay từ thế kỷ 16-thế kỷ 17 nhưng thời đấy người ta hiểu đấy không chỉ riêng là Whisky mà còn là những loại rượu chưng cất khác có thêm đồ gia vị” (wiki)
Vốn mình thích uống rượu vang và luôn sợ whiskey vì whiskey vị rất đậm & nặng nên không phải từ một nhấp đầu tiên là đã có thể thích ngay được, chưa kể nồng độ cồn cao nên rất dễ say!
Phải nói rượu whiskey không phải là một loại rượu dễ uống, dễ hiểu, cho tới khi ...
Buổi tiệc tối do công ty Pernod Ricard tổ chức giới thiệu 3 thương hiệu whiskey Ballantine's Royal Salute & The Glenlivet 21 năm tuổi đã hướng dẫn cho mình cách uống whiskey bằng cách ngậm rượu trong vòng 7 giây cho tới 21 giây cho vị của whiskey được lắng đọng trong miệng, trước khi nuốt xuống, để lại vị thơm, có chút cay cay, khói thơm trong vị giác. Phải nói là khi thực sự cho whiskey có thời gian, đồ uống này tinh tế hơn nhiều đồ uống có cồn khác.
Nếu sợ nặng, bạn có thể cho một viên đá, hoặc pha whiskey thành cocktails uống cũng cực kỳ ngon nhé 🥃
Nhiều người cứ bảo là whiskey là đồ uống chỉ dành cho cánh đàn ông vì nó quá ... nam tính, nhưng mình nghĩ whiskey là thức uống khi mình có thời gian để ngẫm nghĩ, cảm nhận cảm xúc thăng hoa 🌹

The Glenlivet Malaysia launches latest limited edition ~ The Glenlivet Code
The Glenlivet Code is a mysterious Single Malt Scotch whisky, i.e. being released without cask information/ tasting notes. Inspired by the iconic British Code breakers, the limited edition is a labyrinth of flavours that will test the senses of even the most discerning whisky drinker. So, the whisky connoisseurs will have to discover & putting their Single Malt knowledge to the test.
Guess what?
Even as invited guests, all are required to 1st decode a word puzzle diagram on the invitation to get the venue location. The puzzle diagram consisted of numbers that represented an alphabet. Ha…Ha…
Frankly, SiennyLovesDrawing was failed for the 1st attempt in getting the venue right. After several attempts & with some tips given, she got it!! Yeah!!

The Glenlivet Code digital, augmented reality experience invites whisky connoisseurs aka participants to scan a code on the back of their bottle carton using the Shazam app to enter a virtual underground room. Then, they will be greeted by a hologram of The Glenlivet’s Master Distiller, Alan Winchester, who will challenge them to decode the taste of the liquid by selecting 4 aromas for the nose & 4 flavours for the palate from thousands of possible combinations.
Wow!! That’s challenging!!
Not yet, after decoding the flavours, all the participants will be given a score which they can post on their social media to see how they rank against their peers.

The official tasting notes won’t be revealed until the end of the year to give Single Malt enthusiasts the time to discover & enjoy the liquid themselves.
