It’s Day 15 of our Holy Month … how’s it been so far? I know some
friends who don’t sahur, but have a super late supper instead. To
each and their own.
.
For me, breakfast is the most important meal to start the day, so I usually drag myself out of bed around 4am to get a quick yoga stretch before having my pre-dawn meal with the family.
.
PETRONAS Kedai Mesra now offers 3 different sets of breakfast
meals; Big Bites, Light Bites and Happy Bites!
.
Excellent for those
on-the-go or as an option to grab when they’re rushing for iftar.
.
So yes! The Mornings@Mesra bun is a hassle-free snack for both sahur and iftar.
.
You can grab these sedap delicacies from the Petronas Kedai Mesra.

MORE TIPS FOR RAMADHAN
1) Intention for fasting Ramadhan:
i) make the "Niyyat" (intention) (in your heart) once, to fast the month of Ramadhan for the sake of Allah {The Niyyat for the month applies even though the allowed exceptions may occur: e.g. someone who is a traveller, or not well, or sisters who cannot fast, can break their fast & resume thereafter within the month.}
ii) renew the "Niyyat" (intention) (in your heart) every night, to fast tomorrow in Ramadhan for the sake of Allah. Do it for Allah.
2) Take Suhoor .. don't forget to take your Suhoor, the pre-dawn meal, as there is blessing in Suhoor .. you can eat & drink right up to Fajr (Adhan); as there is no instruction from the Prophet s.a.w. to stop 10 minutes before Fajr (locally, at Imsak time).
3) When breaking fast: .. say بِسْمِ اللَّه "Bismillaah" (With the Name of Allah)
.. break your fast (with fresh dates, or dried dates, or water)
.. then, as the Prophet s.a.w. recommended, say the du'a:
ذَهَبَ الظَّمَأُ وَابْتَلَّتِ الْعُرُوقُ، وَثَبَتَ الأَجْرُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ "Thahabadh-dhama'u wabtallatil-'urooqu, wa thabatal-'ajru 'inshaa'Allaah." (The thirst is gone, the veins are moistened and the reward is confirmed, if Allah wills.)
Ref: Abu Dawud 2/306. & / or
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِرَحْمَتِكَ الَّتِي وَسِعَتْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ، أَنْ تَغْفِرَ لِي "Allaahumma 'innee 'as'aluka birahmatikal-latee wasi'at kulla shay'in 'an taghfira lee." (O Allah, I ask You by Your mercy, which encompasses all things, that You forgive me.)
Ref: Ibn Majah 1/557. (Refer "Fortress of the Muslim" #176 & 177)
