Chicken in Chilli & Tomato Gravy in Malaysian National Reserved Forest 😅- Ayam Masak Merah - cooked by @melissafeijmohsin and styled by @chefnormanmusa - this is how the dish is traditionally served at wedding reception for the Bride & Groom’s table but I got a bit carried away with the coral lettuce 😂

Due to several circumstances related to COVID19, we decided to tie the knot on April 10, 2020, only 4 days after Khitbah or proposal day. Everything was at its peak at the time. We were worried that we would not be able to get married this year, so we opted for a small wedding at my house and invited the rest of the world to join us virtually via Facebook live broadcast. There were less than 25 people present at the wedding, but several hundred were with us virtually.

We decided not to have a Walimah or the wedding reception. The Nikah had already done its job beautifully for us and our family members. We hope that our next big event will be an Aqiqah ? Inchaallah ❤

Although a lot of important people were missing on that day due to the dire circumstance at the time, it was still one of the best days of my life.

Thank you, everyone, so much for being there for us physically, virtually, and spiritually ❤

This is the wedding of my cousin Oswald V Iking and Jeaneve Simon that I co-emceed with Belz and Fiona at the Pisompuruan Square, Tamu Ground Tambunan.

This is the first time I'm emceeing a Dusun Wedding AND the first time a Dusun reception is held at this historical Tamu Ground.

2. Opening Dance Act by the Kiawayan Dance Club who were the Champions for the International Folklore Festival in Perak and Champions for the International Folklore Festival in Istanbul, Turki

7. Opening Prayer at reception by Sister Dorothy
8. Penyanyi Jemputan : Lana Laidiah (Pemenang Sugandoi 2018 Daerah Tambunan) Elvy Johny (Peserta Sugandoi Tambunan 2019 (she was also the Psalmist at Church) and Fhilix Don (local singer from Ranau but now resides in Tambunan)
9. Best man and Maid of Honor Speech: Maxwell V Iking and Jessica Simon (siblings of Groom & Bride)
