"Taiwanese omelette t 蛋餅" 2015/10/11
There is no breakfast shop here, not like live in Taiwan, we can buy the cheap, delicious breakfast everywhere. As a result, I cooked Taiwanese omelette myself, it's really nice taste and very similar with what I had in Taiwan before.
I don't use the flour to make the wraps but bought the tortilla wraps in Tesco to replace the traditional Taiwanese omelette wraps. This wraps only 1.5 pounds for 16 pieces. so you can save money if you cook at home for your breakfast.
First of all, heat up your nonstick pan with oil, place an egg on your pan, then cover the wrap on the egg. press the wrap to make sure the egg is stuck on your wrap and be well-distributed, and over the wrap with egg. After, roll and fold it.
About the sauce, heat the soy sauce with sugar and water, and increase the heat bring the liquid to a slow boil . Then you can turn off your heat, it's done. Very easy, fast to have a Taiwanese meals yourselves.
由於在英國沒有像台灣一樣,專門販售早餐的早餐店,只有Cafe或者麵包店之類的,因此大部分的人也都會自己做早餐,或者隨便吃個麵包。
但也可以自己製作出台灣的美味蛋餅,而且非常簡單、快速。你可以在Tesco這類的超市買到的墨西哥捲餅的餅皮,我們買的時候是兩包16片,1.5磅(有特價),用來取代蛋餅皮,製作的方法跟台灣的蛋餅一樣,熱鍋後,打一顆蛋下去,蓋上餅皮後,壓平餅皮,讓但可以均勻分布在餅皮上,然後翻面,捲起來,就變成蛋餅了。
醬料的話,用醬油、糖、水,微火澆熱到微沸騰就可以了。
若不想每次做醬料,也可以先做一些,冷卻後冰在冰箱,下次也可以用。就不用在另外買醬油膏了!
