I have a prophetic word for you today.
As we draw near to the end of the year of the latter rain, some of you are still waiting for that great outpouring of promised blessings.
Perhaps you’re even getting anxious and wondering if you did something wrong that you’re not experiencing it.
Abraham and Sarah waited long for their son Isaac (his name means laughter).
God waited till they were physically old and no longer able to make the promise happen by their own strength—so that they would know it’s not by their might or power, but by the Spirit of God.
In other words, rest in God’s strength. Surrender and don’t try to figure out how to make it happen—He will handle the how and when.
I declare to you that you will see your Isaac—your barrenness and tears from asking “Why is this happening to me Lord? Why is everyone getting blessed except for me?” will be replaced with joyful laughter and even dancing when you see the manifestation of your blessings!
Abraham of whom it is written that his faith was counted to him as righteousness is a picture of faith, and Sarah is a picture of Grace.
When you receive the gift of righteousness by faith and the abundance of Grace, you will reign in life—your blessings will cause you to laugh with heartfelt joy and thankfulness to the Lord.
Remember that in the days of their strength, Abraham and Sarah tried to ‘help’ God make the promise happen and it resulted in the birth of an Ishmael.
Ishmael became a stumbling block and enemy of Israel (Isaac’s descendants).
Cease from your own understanding and fleshly efforts. God has promised and He will make good on that promise.
Don’t get tired of asking God for your latter rain blessings. Continue to ask and believe that He loves you, is for you and is a generous God who honors faith!
I believe I will see these blessings and I will not give excuses why they only happened for others and not me.
If God has kept me waiting till now, I know it’s going to be really, really good! Amen? 🙏

thankfulness in the bible 在 Milton Goh Blog and Sermon Notes Facebook 的最佳貼文
My devotional message today, “Are You Not the Christ?” is aptly about Jesus at the cross. Please meditate on this revelation and let the Holy Spirit fill your heart with thankfulness and love for Jesus!
See how a robber who was crucified beside Jesus was transformed in a moment: from insulting Jesus, to confessing Him as the King of his heart.
This robber’s experience proves that salvation is entirely by faith and not by works.
