Are you Counted Worthy?
“Therefore be watchful all the time, praying that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will happen, and to stand before the Son of Man.”” (Luke 21:36 WEB)
The verse above is not written to us, but it is for the people who will miss the Rapture and come to believe in Jesus as Lord after that.
During the Tribulation, they will have to endure hardship and persecution without succumbing to the temptation and ease of receiving the Mark of the Beast.
They will have to pray to be counted worthy to escape the worst of the things that will happen because of the Antichrist’s regime, and to finally stand before Jesus after His Second Coming at the end of the 7-year Tribulation.
Read the whole chapter of Luke 21. The context is clearly talking about the end times, Tribulation, and finally Jesus’ Second Coming. Knowing the context of a passage is so important so that no verses get misinterpreted out of context.
Wrongly applying a verse to believers in our current church age will instill fear in believers making them feel unsure about their salvation, always wondering whether they are praying frequently or fervently enough to be “counted worthy” to escape all these things and to stand before the Son of Man (Jesus).
It is very straightforward and measurable during the Tribulation:
1. Do you believe in Jesus as Lord?
2. Did you receive the Mark of the Beast?
If the person’s answer is “Yes” to question 1 and “No” to question 2, then they are counted worthy and will be saved when Jesus returns at the end of the 7 years.
If you are wondering if God counts you worthy now or not, read this verse:
““Most certainly I tell you, he who hears my word, and believes him who sent me, has eternal life, and doesn’t come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.” (John 5:24 WEB)
Once a person believes in Jesus as Lord, he HAS eternal life now, and he HAS passed out of death into life. This assurance of salvation is yours to enjoy.
“When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, “It is finished.” He bowed his head, and gave up his spirit.” (John 19:30 WEB)
Your worthiness is not based on your obedience. It is based on the truth that Jesus took the punishment for all your sins, and He declared “It is finished” only when God’s wrath against every sin was fully appeased.
In fact, God was so satisfied with what Jesus did, that He raised Jesus from the dead and gave Him all authority in Heaven and on earth:
“Jesus came to them and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Go, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.” (Matthew 28:18-20 WEB)
You are worthy to the Lord. He has sent you in His name and power to preach the Gospel and make more Spirit-filled disciples. Thanks to Jesus, you are worthy!

马来西亚的朋友,大家好好照顾自己和家人!这个病毒没有药医治,请爱惜生命!也不要害了身边的人🙈
*Message from a Doctor in a Penang Hospital.*
There is no medication for this virus, unfortunately. To tell you the truth, we doctors in the hospital are already panicking. System is already *stretched to the maximum*. All operation are cancelled, so what if you have cancer awaiting to do surgery.
Figures reported in the news and by the government are not the same. In penang, we have three wards full of patients with COVID 19, but how many do they report in the news?
Our new patient today is a newborn, just born yesterday by a mother who is COVID positive. This is just a one day old baby, tested positive. This baby’s father went to Sri Petaling tabligh.
In hospital, we are fighting a huge huge disaster. My friends are sent to fight & take care of these coronavirus patients. They are my good friends, but now I have to accept the fact that they could die anytime if they are not careful at all time.
In Malaysia government hospital, *we don’t have enough ICU, not enough testing kits*. But yet, we see so many Malaysians who do not take the advise, going out of their house for unnecessary activities. *No private hospital will accept coronovirus patient*. So what even if you have medical insurance.
Not enough testing kits in government hospital. So what if you have low fever and some cough. We don’t have enough lab test, we will ask you to do self quarantine and come back when you are more sick.
We are not like China, they will straight away do CT scan for all symptomatic patients hence they can detect it much earlier and therefore mortality is low.
Modern countries like Italy, France, Spain and America couldn’t even contain the disease, so how are we better than them in preparing for this disease when they impose *total lockdown*, and we only impose *Perintah Pergerakan*.
This virus will *survive outside our body for 48-72 hours*. Meaning if anybody positive sneeze or cough, this virus will remain in the air for the next three days. If everybody follow order and the law, quarantine at home for two weeks, the virus will have no host (no human body to attach to), they will die eventually after two to three days. But if there is always outing, dining, shopping, there is always a new human body it will go to and continue to live and continue to spread.
*Remember:*
这场疫情之后, 留下来的不是最壮最 *健康* 的, 而是 *听话的*, 有公民意识的, *爱惜生命的人*,
我们已经在用生命帮你们打这场战争了, 请待在家里.

The Deep Revelations of Melchizedek
“Having been made perfect, he became to all of those who obey him the author of eternal salvation, named by God a high priest after the order of Melchizedek. About him we have many words to say, and hard to interpret, seeing you have become dull of hearing. For although by this time you should be teachers, you again need to have someone teach you the rudiments of the first principles of the revelations of God. You have come to need milk, and not solid food. For everyone who lives on milk is not experienced in the word of righteousness, for he is a baby. But solid food is for those who are full grown, who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern good and evil.” (Hebrews 5:9-14 WEB)
There are revelations about Melchizedek that spiritually immature believers aren’t ready to accept nor understanding because they aren’t established in the basic Gospel truth about how righteousness comes about: by faith in Jesus and His finished work at the cross, not by the works of the Law.
For those who are ready to receive, consider this passage:
“For this Melchizedek, king of Salem, priest of God Most High, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings and blessed him, to whom also Abraham divided a tenth part of all (being first, by interpretation, “king of righteousness”, and then also “king of Salem”, which means “king of peace”; without father, without mother, without genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but made like the Son of God), remains a priest continually. Now consider how great this man was, to whom even Abraham, the patriarch, gave a tenth out of the best plunder. They indeed of the sons of Levi who receive the priest’s office have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brothers, though these have come out of the body of Abraham, but he whose genealogy is not counted from them has accepted tithes from Abraham, and has blessed him who has the promises. But without any dispute the lesser is blessed by the greater. Here people who die receive tithes, but there one receives tithes of whom it is testified that he lives.” (Hebrews 7:1-8 WEB)
The author is about to reveal the deep revelations about Melchizedek that only spiritually mature Christians can accept and understand.
The name Melchizedek in Hebrew means “king of righteousness”.
He is also the king of Salem (the old name for Jerusalem) which means peace (shalom) in Hebrew.
Who is this mysterious priest to God that was appointed before the Old Covenant of the Law was even given?
He is without parents or genealogy, meaning he wasn’t born—he’s not human.
He has no beginning of days or end of life meaning he is an eternal being who wasn’t created and cannot die—in other words, he is God. Even angels are created beings.
Melchizedek blessed Abraham—he didn’t curse Abraham or impose any laws on him.
We learn that Melchizedek’s priesthood is about righteousness, peace and blessing.
Melchizedek remains a priest continually—an unbroken, unending priesthood.
The author seems to be leading the recipients of this letter to conclude themselves that Melchizedek is Yahweh—the eternal Word of God and pre-incarnate Christ.
Therefore Melchizedek is not a name, but one of Yahweh’s titles that tells us about Himself.
Note that Jesus will be the King of Jerusalem in the Millennium, as well as in the eternal city of New Jerusalem, so He is the eternal King of Salem.
Abraham seems to have had a revelation that Melchizedek is the eternal God, therefore recognizing Him, he gave a tithe to Melchizedek as an act of worship.
Abraham tithed long before the Law was ever given, so he tithed voluntarily out of having a revelation, not because he was forced or threatened with a curse.
In contrast, the Levitical priesthood made up of mortal men collected tithes from Israel because of the commandment of the Law.
It is greater to tithe voluntarily out of faith rather than to tithe under compulsion out of duty.
Aside from this, Melchizedek came to Abraham with bread and wine—a picture of the Lord’s Supper.
“Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine: and he was priest of God Most High. He blessed him, and said, “Blessed be Abram of God Most High, possessor of heaven and earth: and blessed be God Most High, who has delivered your enemies into your hand.” Abram gave him a tenth of all.” (Genesis 14:18-20 WEB)
The deep revelations of Melchizedek are this:
1. Jesus is Melchizedek. He is always the high priest to God—before His incarnation, after His incarnation and forever.
2. Tithing is an act of worship to declare that Jesus is great. It also proclaims His resurrection from the dead—that He is alive forevermore. Tithing is the way of receiving God’s blessing of provision.
3. The Lord’s Supper is a meal of blessing that proclaims Jesus’ death at the cross. The Lord’s Supper is the way of receiving God’s blessing of health and healing.
