I love Taiwan, Taiwan is my 3rdhome, we live on the country side! The food the people here are especially warm and welcoming. Traveling around is very convenient, steering wheels is on the left side which is same as Canada (unlike HongKong – right sided steering wheels which makes me always turned to wrong lane !)
People also travel by motorcycle, basically if you have local driver license you can easily apply for a motorcycle license. My husband gave me some GREAT lessons on “how to ride motorcycle” back then !
Anyway, Breakfast is one of the most important meal for everyone here, people have early breakfast, early lunch (quick nap) and an early dinner as their daily routine.
One of the traditional breakfast in South Taiwan is called “Mi Shua Go” 麵線糊，its basically minced pork with very soft noodles with delicious sauce. Adding an raw egg york makes this bowl especially healthy. Its hard to find it in Taipei, but is everywhere in south Taiwan, I am sure you will love it too. !! (Price for each bowl is $15 NTD, which is approx $0.60CAD, no tax no tips)
