I actually ain't a big fan of Malaysia style black sauce wanton mee but it grew on me. Unable to visit Malaysia for nearly a year, I do miss their style of wanton mee. Fortunately, I am able to get it at Downstairs_SG Cafe in Suntec City. The noodles are crunchy and the sauce is a blend of dark soy sauce, fried shallot oil and lard. If you miss Malaysia black sauce wanton mee too, get it here.

Treasure the best wanton mee from Pudu Chan Fatt Wanton Mee. A family run business that first started up its stall in 1955 at Pudu. Now the recipes have passed down to their daughter, Megan, the owner of current Pudu Chan Fatt Wanton Mee. Her dishes remain me my childhood favourite local delights. A must try at their Char Siew Wanton Mee and Curry Laksa.
