Nothing in particular, just felt like sharing some of my thought… just take it as a mumbling session from me……
Being in ACG circle for almost 19 years, there’s by fits and starts (Yao did portrait shooting in the middle of time). I came back 6 years ago, start it all over again and giving full force into cosplay. All this while, I position cosplay as my hobby. However, hardly to take a hobby as a permanent job. FYI, it will no longer a pure hobby when it slowly went into a business pathway. It will slowly be depressing yourself, will started to force yourself to do some character that you don’t like, slowly forget who you’re, and you’ll started to doubt your life. “How if I’m no longer famous, can I still get a job now?” Started to fight with others, comparing among your friends, there’s also someone who starting to take advantages from someone to ensure self to be on top, bad mouth others and so on……
Yao met with similar kind of people before, and started to slowly keep distance with them. So, sometimes people come and ask me “Hey Yao, why don’t you work with who in particular…? Maybe, just maybe he or she is that kind of person that I’m don’t appreciate. Anyways, we are speaking different languages. I just want to happily stay in my cosplay life. I don’t want to waste time on someone who has a different mindset as mine. It will just spoil my mood.
By the way, Yao is someone who doesn’t like to stay in the same style forever. It will eventually reflect on out photos! No matter is cosplay or some style of photograph. I wish to try my best to try on different things. Maybe some people might say, we’re walking towards sexy-lusty pathway. Let me guess, the one who say so is someone that never be with us since the very beginning right? And never know us well too. Our portfolio involving many different kind of style. Since we have our own fans page, we’re still doing the same style as now. And there’s many different kinds of photography style and in between of sexy-lusty and artistic everyone has their own definition too. If you don’t like it you can choose to leave. Because of this matter occur the dropping of fans amount, ignoring our others signature portfolio… All I can said was you don’t know us; you don’t understand us at all.
My profession is from Art stream and current job relates to art too (we’re not professional cosplayer). Most of the time, I will view it in an artistic way. Therefore, it is hard to determine the differences between those two. There’s something called Art in Lust, which more towards western style; western culture. Where more open-minded and higher acceptance level from them. I stayed in portrait shooting quite some time, so I slowly adapted into the culture and try on different culture of shooting too. However, I think maybe this is what’s happening in Asia , most of them is in a conservative mindset. Where most of the cosplayer is in the younger generation too. Be frank, I’m not surprise on the number of peoples reporting our Facebook page. Because of this issue, we decided to place most of our sexier portfolio in e-magazine. Where you will need to meet certain requirement to view the photos. I would like to take this opportunity to apologize to the one who supporting us but can’t meet the requirement to view the photos.
Regarding on the attitude toward cosplay…
With the interest of creating a better creative idea,
I personally think that cosplayer and illustrator do work the same, other than originality there’s other possibility too. It is free to create, self-serving, full with imagination…
I love to take storyline-based photos which is more originally relates to the project. It actually can let us portrait the character though acting, act the characteristic of the chosen character, figure out a different emotional feeling… It felt so good! I believe this is the best part of cosplay, and I personally like this part the most too. But I like to take some self-serving portfolio too. I like to try some different direction like CP,BL, GL, Transgender, Funny, Playful and OOC too. I love having the freedom of creativity within my world. That allows me to have all kind of thinking and direction for the character.
In the meanwhile, let’s say im in a cosplay working condition I will be in a different emotional and attitude too. I’m someone who very strict (to my partner too!) when it comes to work. I will make sure that I’m fully into situation, into the character. I’ll make sure is the character who lead the way, bring in the character emotional and feeling, just like be possessed by the character. This is my working attitude during my cosplay working time.
Of course, this is my situation. Everyone has their own way and principle to portrait their character. We should respect each other’s.
My personal thought:
Cosplay is you’re happy to be in that character
Cosplay is the challenges on the character originality
Cosplay is you bring out something from the virtual world and your mind
Cosplay is something that you can input your creativity and thinking
Cosplay is found someone who has the same passionate as you do
Cosplay is respect other’s even different thought
Cosplay is can create new spark even with different type of thought or different type of presenting
Cosplay is love, where comes with friendship, hard work and memories
No matter you are professional cosplayer part-timer cosplayer, originality team, full with self-serving OOC team, ps, or illustrator…
As long as you felt happy, never force yourself to do something that you dislike, never bad mouth or bully anyone… why not?
Cosplay is something that’s make you feel happy. If you felt stressful, perhaps you can try to adjust your feeling toward cosplay and review the current situation? With this I believe will slowly found the satisfaction and happiness in it
Still the same advice from me – never forget the reason, have fun-
Thank you for supporting the capricious me! Thanks for not only like our work but me too. I truly love every one of you ^_^

Cos
Cos
Cos
Cos
Cos
Cos
Cos
Cos

As already many dear friends recognized and sent me messages about that, I have been safely back to Japan from Malaysia.
I was detained by Malaysian immigration during convention, and now finally released. You can see below statement from Organizer ( Geek Summit オタクサミット / WCS Malaysia) to see what happened in detail.
https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=454977858674466&id=353277798844473
Fistly I would like to say big thank you to all who made much effort to release us earlier, Japanese/Spanish Embassy, Organizers, WCS members and all dear frineds who worried us....thank you so much for everything.
We did Cosplay Judge for WCS preliminary of Malaysia then, but then immigration came and finally detained. This time not only 3 Japanese Cosplayers, but one World Cosplay Summit Japan Inc permament member (Pol Roca from Spain, not cosplayer) has detained as well. So it is not the incident only for cosplayers anymore. (also I am the member of WCS too)
We already know similar incident has happened in this March in Malaysia, so to prevent in advance, we already confirmed all required points to the organizer, and also the organizer told us they took all required process and organizers are too careful about that as well, but still it happened again.....
Now here I wrote that since I do not want to see anyone who have such experience again in future anymore.
Also we were sad since on some news they reported as if we are not innocent (of course we are released as innocent)....and their news photos are from Malaysian immigration taken for their investigation, which should not be used on the medias, but it was used.....
During detention, we should stay too dirty jail sometimes with handcuffs, where crammed over 200 overstayed people and there were too many big mosquitos/cockroaches/mouses....stayed there for days with no-clean small foods/drinks, without bed & human rights. Strongly I do not want to see further cosplayers to have such experiences so I wrote that.
I know so far Malaysia used to be great and safety for international guests too, but just right now it is not. We should wait until the timing it will be better.
Now I quickly wrote that because I truly appreticate to all Organizers, Japanese/Spanish Embassy, WCS Inc. and all dear friends who helped us lots during our detention, and also feel thankful to all the friends who worried us about that, it relieved me lots too....!! My dear friends must know that I never wrote such kind of posts so far on SNSs, but this time I received many messages from dear friends with big worry, so finally I wrote this with some important things. I will take enough rest and again, thank you so much.

-----------------------
Hello.I'm Misako Aoki.
Today I want to show you how to do Gothic Lolita makeup and hair.
Are you ready? Here we go.
At first, let's do base makeup.
For a Gothic Lolita look, to make a pale skin.
We're going to start out with the concealer.
Choose the lightest shade of concealer and apply it to your entire face.
You might think it is a little bit too bright.
But for a Gothic Lolita look, this will be just perfect,
just lighten your skin.
To highlight your cheeks where you receive the strongest light.
Put concealer around your cheekbones.
Next is this highlighter.
Also for pale skin.
Apply highlighter on the cheek bones.
Normally, we use highlighter to highlight our eyes or T-zones.
But here, we are using highlighter to make our skin pale.
Apply all over your face.
After that, the foundation.
Using a foundation that is slightly lighter.
Apply it all over your face.
We want a doll's face look.
Slather on foundation to make it look pale.
To cover up dark circles under your eyes. Apply a little heavier foundation underneath your eyes.
And the last step of base makeup, we'll use a highlighter with glitter.
There are several colors here, but this time we will choose white.
A little will be just enough this will help you to look brighter and make your face shape clear.
Also it keeps your make-up stay longer.
That is all for base make-up.
Now, it's time to apply eye makeup.
Take a brown shadow and apply it to the outer corners of the eyes.
This brown color.
Make sure you get a good coverage of your double eyelids
Put it just behind your upper lashes gently stretch the lid by using this color.
To accentuate your eyes and make your eyes look bigger by doing this.
Since it's much easier to defeat liquid eyeliner mistakes, we will use the black thin liquid eyeliner.
Create a clear eye line from the inner corners of your eyes to the outer corners.
As we want a heavy makeup.
We draw an upward eye line this time.
Just like this and blend out with your fingertips.
Make sure your eye line won't be that thin,
the width of the eye line between 2mm to 3mm would be nice.
If you want your eyes to look even more bigger.
line the inside of your eyes carefully and tightly.
If you want a droopy eye look,
line your upper lash line downward; it will be cute too.
You can choose the type of eye makeup to match your outfit.
Now apply grey eye shadow around your eyes and blend outward.
This eye shadow has gotten glitter in it.
Apply it all over the eyelids.
And also underneath the eyes.
Apply the same brown eye shadow again.
Blend into the crease apply it thickly over the eyelids once again.
And then use the liquid eyeliner again.
This time, use the brown to draw a shadow underneath.
Another key to Gothic Lolita makeup is.
Make the eyes darker with dramatic eyes,
Start from the inner corner, connect the eyeliner line your inner water line, trace the inner rim on your lower and upper lash lines.
Go for an exaggerated cat eye.
Do the same way as the other side ,follow the bottom lash line.
If you want to make it even more dramatic and Gothic here, you can line your upper lash line more heavily, and make it more thicker.
If the look is a little too much for you,a brown liquid eyeliner would also be a nice choice.
If the color of your hair is brown, a brown eyeliner will also give you a lovely look.
Blur those lines with your fingertips.
With the completion of your eyeliner, use the brown eye shadow for a smoky eye effect.
Brown eye shadow.Get that color going and just go start sweeping it up.
Brown is much easier to blend with, that's why I chose brown this time.
Now it's time for false eyelashes.
I'm going to use these lashes, longer wispy bundles with an even edge, giving it a retro, wide-eyed cutie look.
I will apply it without cutting this time.
They usually fall off from the inner or outer corners, so apply glue directly onto the lashes and each corners.
Using a damp Q-tip you can push them into place to make them stay longer.
Use liquid eyeliner to blend in the lines.

-----------
Hello everybody, this is Kimura U! The pinkest creator in the universe
Today I would like to try out a fashion make-up inspired by the Pikachu from Pocket Monster.
I would like to start out with the base foundation.
Next will be the eye shadow.
The colors of the eye shadow is yellow. This comes from the yellow body color of Pikachu.
Let's use this color which looks like an egg yolk.
When you think you put too much, use a thinner color to blend it out.
On the bottom part, apply up until one third from the corner of the eye.
I would like to use this black liquid eyeliner to draw the lightening.
I will start out with the normal eye line.
To fill in between the eye lashes, the root part should be applied with care.
Then, you apply to the bottom as well.
For the bottom, you should apply it until around the edge of the black of your eye.
Now I will draw the lightening.
Next, I will draw another lightening underneath.
I will now using this gold glitter eyeliner, to give some electric like glitter.
I will pull a gold line along the lightening as if the electricity I running on the eye lid.
I'm going to cry.
I would like to put on the fake eye lashes.
This is the eyelashes I'm using this time.
Make sure it fits right where your own eye lashes are.
Next I will use this mascara to blend out the fake eyelash and my own eyelash.
By putting mascara on your own eyelashes, it will demolish the border between the original and the fake.
I will now put the bottom eyelash.
First, you put the eyelash one fifth the length from the corner of the eye.
Take out the smaller fake eyelash for the bottom and stick it beside it.
Put mascara in the part where there is no fake eyelashes.
This will make the fake eyelashes to look natural.
So this is how the eye makeup is done. Today I have Pikachu as an image so I have a black contact lenses on. When you want to try this makeup, please try on black contact lenses.
Next will be the lips. The color of the lip will be red having in mind the inside color of Pikachu's mouth.
I would like to add this lip gloss.
Following, I would like to draw my eyebrows, but to make a little challenge, I will put this gold glitter on the eyebrows.
Trace your own eyebrows.
Go downwards as if you are drawing an arch.
I will now add color to my cheek in red just like Pikachu.
If you think the color is in spots, use this foundation to blend in.
Lastly, I would like to use lightning stickers for parts so small that I cannot draw with the eyeliner.
Maybe a little higher.
This is how it's done.
Now you see that the makeup is done, I would like my hair like PIKACHU.
I will first use this blond long curl wig.
Next, I will try to illustrate Pikachu's biggest feature, the black tip of the ear by painting this gold wig black with hair spray.
I just cut the bangs a little so I will curl it with the iron.
When you curl the wig, it will form itself when it cools down so shape it with your fingers until it is cool.
It's hot! Ouch...
Now I will make pig tails.
Quite an amount.
Let see if it holds....must be a way...maybe...Ah! It split in half. It split!.
In these circumstances...hair spray! Will it work?
This is how it ended up.
Pikachu.
Here is Pikachu style fashion make up.
Pika Pika.
Why don't you try, everyone?
Bye bye!
