［醫生，你幾時生日？］醫生生日開刀，病人易死好多。是真的。「識玩梗係2月29日開刀」
TLDR：是真的，醫生都係人啫。有幾出奇？不如做下研究，睇下跑馬或股災又有冇影響？或者球員生日會唔會易啲射失十二碼？易啲拎牌？又，史上應該得一個球員世界盃生日食紅牌，估下邊個？咁當然係7月生日的。名將嚟架。

1. 篇瑞幸大家反應好似幾好，可能都係唔想我貼咁多台北美食。「但我都係會貼」，for sake of completeness，況且，「免費讀者仲咁多要求？」。
2. 但無論如何，好似高級餐咁，兩度菜（或者兩大類嘢，例如主菜同甜品，甚至江振誠玩嘅pre-dessert 同 dessert）之間，畀啲Palate cleanser你，清下。都好講究架
3. 講返呢壇嘢，唔知點解原文開唔返，但Anyway，應該唔係假新聞。睇BMJ（英國醫學期刊）都有講（https://bityl.co/4tVc）
4. 原本標題都有啲搶，講「如果開刀嗰日醫生生日，老人家死亡機會大23%」。但BMJ講法都差不多，用字中性啲，atient death rates higher on surgeons’ birthdays。嘩。咁真係要問下醫生你幾時生日。又，識玩梗係2月29號開刀！但人地好似講緊急，唔係你自己揀。
5. Anyway，我冇睇原本個研究，但相信咁出得嚟都嚴謹嘅，你想像到，都唔係太複雜嘅研究。不過講返，observational study，搵唔到原因的，只能作者估估下，冇乜深入證據支持。
6. 但諗深一層，你諗下，成件事其實好合理啫。因為，醫生都係人嘛。（＊）。有幾出奇？
7. 之前啲其他研究，都見到手術中病人死亡率，會受好多外在因素影響。聖誕，週末等等都幾有影響。
8. 仲有，我舊文（！）都寫過，台灣人十分迷信，好多人唔想「鬼月開刀」（https://bityl.co/4tVv）。實情根本係掉轉，研究見到，「鬼月」（農曆七月）開刀意外率先最低。好簡單，因為個個唔敢去，醫生好得閒，自然出錯機會少好多。六月八月人人湧晒去，醫生都係人，自然大啲機會犯錯。（仲有，七月唔開刀拖到八月，情況當然好大機會惡化）。呢啲，就係Contrarian 啦。 Life Hack，人生勝利靠呢啲。
9. 講返醫生生日開刀，似乎做到研究出嚟，幾明顯係醫生生日，個病人會易啲死。驚驚。但，點解？
10. 作者只能夠估，但唔使咩專業知識，都係一啲你估到嘅原因：最簡單，準時收工啦，約咗人食飯嘛，咪快手搞掂，咪可能出錯。仲有？護士同佢講生日快樂啦，問佢邊度食飯啦。或者？有人send whatsapp啦，「甚至冇較震機」（應該冇咁好笑掛？），哎啲，一嚇，切過咗幾毫米。仲有，可能生意，就抖下啦，早啲交啲簡單啲畀啲新仔做，甚至早知走。又或者，生日去咗遠啲食飯，收到急call病人有事，都搞一輪先返到嚟，可能平時好快手。
11. 你心諗，咁化學？我又覺得冇嘢。記住，醫生都係人嘛。你認清楚呢啲嘢，再去諗方法解決，總好過做駝鳥只係覺得「醫生好專業唔會受壓力影響」。
12. 又，同樣道理，我建議呢，「不如做下股災同醫生開刀病人死亡率」嘅關係。都半認真，醫生都係人。照計呢啲研究唔難做，分分鐘呃份Master Thesis都得（博士論文就太流了吧）
13. 另外，我都幫你諗埋。不如睇球員，睇下會唔會生日嗰日十二碼壓力大啲易啲射失。不過球員冇得趕收工，我估影響唔大。或者再睇下，會唔會啲球員生日特別hyper特別易食牌.
14. 不過，啲數據要小心啲做。因為手術日日做，但波唔係日日睇。會歇冬，「冬天生日嗰啲好難食紅牌」。又例如，我有搵下，有邊位球員係世界盃生日食紅牌。答案應該咁多年以嚟得一個，名將嚟添。
15. 而你諗下，世界盃都係六七月踢，所以一定係夏天生日嘅球員會上榜。

18. 唔好意思講得長咗，老人家啲回憶返晒嚟。1994年我升中四，真係叫做第一次完全自由睇波，好似場場睇咁滯。90 92 係冇呢回事的。
（＊）我諗起以前有個中學師兄，好似都比較隨性，上堂睇馬經定乜。後來考咗入中大醫學院。咁好似我化學老師（亦有教過佢）同佢唔妥，就在我地面前講呢個故事。然後話希望第時唔好有事見到係佢，佢話：如果我見到係呀乜乜乜醫生，我就叫佢just let me die．咁我相信，呀乜乜乜師兄，唔會做手術賭馬嘅。「不過不如研究下賽馬日開刀係咪易啲死」。真架，江湖常識，星期三晚唔好去茶餐廳嘛，最好唔好飛髮添。
