【自治區節慶 ~ 拉里奧哈(Día de La Rioja)】
六月 9 日是拉里奧哈節,導遊趁機介紹一下這個自治區。
拉里奧哈地區(La Rioja)是西班牙的 17 個自治區之一,位於西班牙中北部,人口三十一萬人,人口最多的都市是首府洛格羅尼奧(Logroño)。
拉里奧哈地區以產葡萄酒聞名,具有適合種植葡萄的氣候和土壤,當地特別的原生品種葡萄叫做 tempranillo,釀造出來的葡萄酒優雅、滑順、深具平衡感。十九世紀法國的葡萄樹因為根瘤蚜蟲害而大量死亡,法國酒商帶著最新的葡萄品種跟釀酒技術搬到未受蟲害的西班牙,拉里奧哈地區吸收了法國的釀酒技術,成為最大的受益者之一,並成功地打入國際市場,早在1925年就成為西班牙第一個獲得原產地名稱的西班牙葡萄酒產區,1991年是第一個獲得優質法定產區酒(DOCa)的地區。不過,DOCa Rioja的產區很大,長100多公里、寬40公里,不只是拉里奧哈地區,而包括某些巴斯克地區的阿拉瓦省(Álava)跟屬於納瓦拉省(Navarra)的小鎮。
拉里奧哈地區以產酒聞名,有超過五百家酒莊,所以,它的旅遊也以酒為主題,從參觀葡萄園、了解葡萄栽種方式、認識耕種葡萄或釀酒師的工作、品酒到以美酒搭配美食。對拉里奧哈的人們來說,葡萄酒不只是一種酒精飲料,而是一種共享的文化,一種可以親身體驗的生活方式。
而且,拉里奧哈地區的酒莊都很有錢,酒莊建築都出於名家之手,例如:Viña Tondonia 酒莊請札哈·哈蒂(Zaha Hadid)設計,Marqués de Riscal 酒莊請法蘭克·蓋瑞(Frank Gehry)設計, Ysios 酒莊請聖地牙哥·卡拉特拉瓦(Santiago Calatrava)設計,Bodegas Darien 酒莊請 Jesús Merino Pascual 設計,Baigorri 酒莊請 Iñaki Aspiazu 設計,Campo Viejo 酒莊請 Ignacio Quemada 設計,Juan Alcorta 酒莊請 Ignacio Quemada 設計,Regalía de Ollauri 酒莊請 Javier Arizcuren & Miguel Alonso 設計,Viña Real 酒莊請 Philippe Mézieres 設計 .....。而因為 Marqués de Riscal 酒莊請法蘭克·蓋瑞(Frank Gehry)設計的是五星飯店,所以,後來在拉里奧哈地區也有幾家飯店建築都出於名家之手,Hotel Viura 飯店是 Beatriz Pérez Echazarreta 設計的,Finca de los Arandinos 飯店是 Beatriz Pérez Echazarreta 設計的,David Delfín & Javier Arizcuren 設計的等。
洛格羅尼奧(Logroño)是拉里奧哈地區的首府,跟葡萄酒有密切關係,所以,到洛格羅尼奧就不能錯過 calado。calado 是用石塊建造的地下酒窖,以保持釀酒的理想溫度,現在在洛格羅尼奧的市中心有幾個15、16世紀的 calado,其中一個市政府的 calado 叫做 Calado de San Gregorio,可以參觀,另外還有一個私人的 calado 出租 15 世紀的酒窖讓人辦宴會。在洛格羅尼奧,Laurel(西文的「月桂樹」)是美食跟tapas的代名詞,不管是跟朋友聚會、去喝一杯、或是單純地想吃美食,去Laurel街就沒錯了。在短短 130 公尺左右的巷子裡,有二、三十家酒吧,酒吧競爭激烈,消費者成為最大的贏家,每家酒吧的 tapas 都是美食,不用挑酒吧挑餐廳,直接從街頭吃到街尾就可以。

拉里奧哈地區的天然景觀跟自然生態保護區也不少:
🌲 1 個聯合國教科文組織的生物圈保護區(Biosphere Reserves):Valles de Leza, Jubera, Cidacos y Alhama
🌲 1 個受拉姆薩公約(Ramsar)保護的濕地,以保護水禽棲地:Humedales de la Sierra de Urbión
🌲 自然保護區包括Parque Natural de Sierra Cebollera 天然公園、Reserva Natural de los Sotos de Alfaro 天然保護區、Lagunas de Urbión 湖等
🌲 167541 公頃的特別生態保護區以及鳥類特別保護區
除此之外,因為拉里奧哈地區是西班牙最著名的產酒區,當地節慶大多跟酒有關,每年六月底在 Haro 有個打酒戰(Batalla del Vino)的節慶,別人玩打水戰,但是,拉里奧哈的酒比水便宜,所以,他們不玩打水戰,他們玩打酒戰(Batalla del Vino)。另外,每年九月在採摘釀酒葡萄的季節,還有採摘釀酒葡萄的節慶(Fiesta de la Vendimia)。

今晚的倫敦在雨中瀰漫著股緊張的氣氛...繼上周六恐攻之後,市中心到處都可以看見荷槍實彈的警察嚴肅的盯著來來往往的路人們
即使哥是個和平守法的市井小民,但被這氛圍瞧的也有點緊張
還好,緊張的哥在超市準備採買民生必需品時眼尖的瞄到西班牙的Campo Viejo Blanco。Campo Viejo是我剛來英國時最常購買的酒款,當年的黃標紅酒尚未從Crianza降級成Joven前CP值可說是突破天際。
這隻以Viura及Tempranillo Blanc葡萄釀造的白酒,洽熟的柑橘及蘋果點綴著一些白花香氣。簡單不複雜,特別適合週間晚上舒壓時輕鬆飲用,以茶比喻的話就像薄荷花茶一樣可以讓人感覺身心放鬆,但又有了點酒精所帶來的微醺幸福

【酒哥說說酒】Wine Fault 之 Corked Wine
今晚心血來潮打開兩年前去西班牙時順手帶回來的戰利品。在英國待了一段時間的朋友,Campo Viejo這個來自西班牙Rioja的牌子對你來說應該並不陌生。它的黃色標籤入門款Tempranillo 基本各家超市大街小巷都有販售。這黃標酒款再四年前尚未從Crianza降級成Joven之前,CP可是高的驚人。

可惜今晚打開後一聞......瓶內的酒液在TCA的霸凌下...已然無力回天.......我只想好好喝支酒阿阿阿 (翻桌)

Fermentation in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature around 28 degree
Prolonged maceration with the skins. The wine is aged for a minimum of 5 years & spends at least 24 months in French oak casks & American oak casks before rounding off in the bottle for minimum 24 months
Tasting notes of CV Gran Reserva
Personally she loves this the most among the 3️⃣. A very smooth fruity tasting. She has enjoyed a glass to end her tapas trails of the night
Ruby-red colour, deep & vibrant. Complex nose. It retains extraordinary well the black fruit aromas (i.e. blackberries, blue berries & plums). Gradually, it opens up to reveal smoky, toasted wood nuances, with spices & hints of minerals & tobacco. On the palate is smooth with soft & velvety tannins, great palate weight, extraordinary balance acidity. Elegant & complex aftertaste, with hints of coffee, chocolate, tobacco & dark fruit
Suggestions of food matches
Delicious with red meat, grills & roasts, game, mature & blue cheeses. Great with lamb stew with chestnuts sauce
Best served at 17-18 degree

Tasting notes of CV Reserva
Personally she doesn't really enjoy this middle weight, long complex finish. She felt a bit dry & lack of smooth tasting. Just enjoyed a glass
Ruby-red colour, bright & deep. Intense nose, with a great balance between the fruit (i.e. cherries, black plums, ripe blackberries) & the clean nuances coming from the oak (i.e. clove, pepper. vanilla & coconut), enriched by the complex aromas developed during the bottle ageing. Very attractive on the palate, with ripe fruit & spices, tobacco & toasted oak. Elegant & soft tannins, middle weight, long & complex finish
Suggestions of food matches
Delicious with red meat, grills & roasts, game, mature & blue cheeses. Great with grilled tuna steak/ grilled beef with black pepper
Best served at 16-17 degree

Nose is rich in aromas & pronounced in intensity. On the palate, it's perfumed, soft & fresh with a long finish that leaves memories of red fruit, vanilla & cocoa
