Towerrunning Tour Final 2017 in Changsha this morning.
Sorry for the late update.
Ranking: 16th our of 25th Elite Tower Runners with the timing of 6:43 minutes. Is a Time-Trial Race, 30 seconds gap between each runner. The only thing to race is to beat yourself, finish strong.
A challenging 46th floors with different combination of steps in between and a more average number of steps in between each floor are the main factor that slow you down.
G - 1st Floor: 13 | 9 | 8 | 10 steps = 40 steps
1st - 2nd Floor: 9 | 7 | 8 | 8 steps = 32 steps
2nd - 3rd Floor: 10 | 10 | 10 | 10 steps = 40 steps
3rd - 45th Floor: 13 | 12 steps = 1,050 steps
46th Floor: 6 | 11 | 8 | 8 | 8 | 7 steps = 48 steps
Total: 1,210 steps
Starting to stair entrance: 30m
15th Floor: 20m
30th Floor: 20m
Finishing: 15m
Visualising and practicing imagination on how smooth I run, how to tackle the stairs every night before the races. It works well this morning but the weather is too cold to me, didn’t expect that.
Almost get caught up by the runner behind me and thanks to him, I gave it all in and not to let him overtake me.
Definitely is not a great performance and I know I can do it better. Thanks everyone for the wishes and support! Thanks to all my sponsors: Garmin Malaysia, Lila Exogen Malaysia, High5SportsNutrition, BeetItSport Malaysia, Lifeline ID.
Thank you so much!
Happy to know many elite athlete from all over the world and looking forward to meet some of you guys in Eiffel Tower, Paris (15th Mar 2018).
Congratulation to all of you who did a great job today!

Ice Watch Light Up the Night Run 2016
Men Open 10KM, Champion.
10.44KM, 3:30 min/km, 36:35 minutes, Sub 35!
Thanks Azwan, @awanrun for fetching me from UM to the Plaza Shah Alam. We reached there very early at about 4pm to collect the race kit. We then rested at the Subway and I continued to do my assignment. I took a nap at 6pm until 6.20pm and then we both went and get ready.
Back to the car, put the bib on and get ready for the race. I had a capsule of Actigin and get a tab of Xtreme High 5 Electrolytes to mix with 350ml of water and grab a 350ml of water with me together. Went to warm up for 2k at 4:15 min/km pace. Refuel up the electrolyte water and plain water once about 10 minutes for about 60 ml to 85 ml. Did some running drills later on and followed with striding.
Got into the starting pent at 7.40pm to get myself ready in the front line as the number of participants close to 6,000 runners. The race delayed for 20 minutes and we flagged off at 8.20pm. Before the race started, the reporter came and ask me, what's my target for tonight. I replied to her that I want to hit a sub 35 for 10k. She said if you come back in 35 minutes, come and see me, I want to interview you. Haha.
Race started, running quite fast to make the first turn and then no one guide us at the beginning, so everyone went to the wrong turn after the first turn to the left. After that we ran back to the correct route and quickly got back to the leading position. Running together with Azwan, Amin Manan in the first few km. Leading the pack follow closely behind Ameeyn, the Lead Marshall of the race. Thanks man for the awesome guide and the support.
Went until the end and make a u-turn, maintain at the pace and head back to finishing line. Rolling hills all the way from the beginning and head back the same route. I loved hills.
Surge a few times throughout the way as I heard the foot steps behind me getting louder and louder. Have a really good race with Azwan and Amin that night. And so I came back first at 36:35 minutes for the distance of 10.44km, 3:30 min/km pace. Target achieved.
Would like to say thanks to Benz for inviting me to run this race, run on behalf of team The Marathon Company.
Thanks to all my sponsors Garmin Malaysia, World of Sports, Lifeline ID, NulivScience US, Currexsole, High5 Sports Nutrition Malaysia.

Celebrate my Nike We Run in hospital this time.
Collapsed in the last 700m. Could have been placing 3rd if I slow down, but I didn't.
For the first time being bring to hospital on a halfway race.
Thanks to Lifeline ID, thanks to Sabrina who help me call my dad when she got my dad's number in the ID.
I will be back again.
